65 Couples Activities & Fun Things to Do that'll Make You Feel Closer Than Ever

Have you gotten bored with your relationship? Then you need to mix things up by finding some new couples activities. Here are 65 great ideas to try.

It’s all too easy to fall into the same old routine as life goes on. We often end up doing the same things, at the same times, every single day. That’s why you need new couples activities to do!

Relationships need work and by allowing old patterns to cause boredom in your union, you’re going to find that you’re doing more yawning when you’re together than laughing.

It’s time to put the spark back into your relationship by trying a few new things together and enjoying couples activities you’ve never done.

Who knows, you might find a brand-new activity that you love or you might find that you end up laughing together so much you forget the point! [Read: Top 50 date ideas to keep your relationship exciting and fun all year long]

How do couples activities help couples bond?

Spending time together means that you’re both putting in the effort to build and grow your relationship.

If you don’t spend time together and do couples activities, even if that is just sitting down and having a coffee together, you’re going to find that you slowly start to drift apart.

When that happens, it takes a major effort to pull things back in the right direction. [Read: Couples bucket list – the best picks you need to have in your relationship goals]

By trying new activities together and making time for one another in general, you’re bonding. This is important even if you’ve been together a while, because as humans, we shift, change, and evolve.

The difficulty comes from thinking about what to do. When you’re put on the spot, you’ll find your mind goes blank and you end up going back to the same activities you’ve always done together.

That’s when everything becomes boring! By trying a few new couples activities, you light the flame of newness in your relationship and things feel fresh once more. [Read: How to be romantic and sweep your girlfriend off her feet]

Shouldn’t everything a couple does together be fun?

Nope. And if you think that is what your relationship should be like, you are very mistaken. Relationships take work, they take effort and communication. That is what makes them so rewarding.

Plus, when you share your life with someone, that means the good and the bad. With that being said, falling into a boring rut is not rare.

You may enjoy your partner’s company so much that just doing nothing seems fine. [Read: The art of keeping your dates exciting!]

But lacking that effort to get dressed up, make plans, or just get off the couch can reflect on your relationship in other more serious ways. So, finding fun things for couples to do together is a must-have.

The best couples activities that’ll keep things exciting and fun for a long time to come!

So, what can you do together? Let’s check out a few couples activities you might not have thought of before. You’ll see that some are quite basic, but when you don’t have to try so hard, the conversation is free to flow!

1. Try a restaurant you’ve never been to before

How many times have you been to the same tried and tested restaurants? Do you end up ordering the same things? Do you sit at the same table? How boring! [Read: 20 really fun things for couples to do to get out of the relationship routine]

You might love the food, but how can you be sure that you’re not missing out on something amazing elsewhere? Do some research into new restaurants and make sure you head somewhere new on your next date night.

2. Or actually eat dinner together at home

No, this doesn’t mean with the television on. We’re talking about eating at the table like an actual couple. [Read: 30 things for couples to do at home with zero boredom involved]

Many people don’t have the time to sit down and eat with their partner, but if you make time, you won’t regret it.

You can eat at home or even go out if you want to, but you’ll notice a huge difference in the way you communicate if you do this.

15 things every couple should do - articles from Dom Vesta

There is nothing nicer than talking about love...

We are all different, but we are united by love. This is a cosmic feeling that makes us special, incredibly beautiful and energetic. Love, as our main value, is necessary in everything in this world - in work, in leisure, in a cooked dish. But the highest form of love is when it unites two hearts. Life is changing. Yes, there is life! It's like the whole world is different.

But how to keep the fire of love alive? We have prepared a small top of things that every couple should do at least once in their life. These are the sparks that can ignite the flame of feelings and always support it.

Happiness is in the little things, and love is woven from them. Although sometimes these little things turn into large-scale repairs. However, about everything in order.

1. Talk until morning. Often conversations about everything in the world, when it is impossible to break away from each other, coincide with the beginning of a relationship. Who does not remember these warm emotions that wrap better blankets? Therefore, many couples are ready to exchange a dream for a sincere conversation until the morning. This is an important period when you can get to know each other's interests better, strengthen the emotional connection.

2. Meet the sunset and dawn. These magical moments are available to many, but not everyone is able to see them. If the palette of nature fills your love, be sure that this will make your union even stronger. In addition, you can take a photo in the tradition of Instagram - your hands represent the halves of the heart, in which the "sun is enclosed." Love makes us romantic. And the girls love it too!

3. Take a photo session together. Such photos become special for each couple and bear the proud name "This is our first photo shoot together." Photo is a great diary of feelings. They, like a time machine, return to the candy-bouquet period and reveal feelings in special shots. Love is the best collaborative photobook filter.

4. Take a vacation together. Relationships are tested not only by everyday life, but also by rest! At the beginning of the union - this can even become a test. Together 24/7! But when there is love, these are real moments of happiness that every couple should plunge into with their heads, without a doubt.

5. Quarrel. On vacation or at home - but this is the must-have for every couple. The main thing is to perceive a quarrel as a point of growth in relations. When there are feelings, it is important to experience their different facets and manifestations. Oddly enough, this can unite and make the couple even stronger.

6. Do something extreme together. From skydiving to skiing and mountain climbing. When a couple decides to go extreme together, this indicates a high level of trust and understanding. The adrenaline rush hits the senses, and a small test unites even more.

7. Cook dinner together. Perhaps one of the most romantic items. While the pasta water is boiling, your favorite wine is in the glasses by the stove, and light music is playing in the background. Turning everyday life into art is a great exercise for love.

8. Create your own tradition. Love is looking in one direction. And often at the rate of this direction, things can arise that are understandable only for two. This is how their own traditions and moments are born that make the couple happier.

9. Make repairs. Polls show that many couples find it important to pass the test of "repair" together. This is the "tank" that destroys order, walls, but only love is able to withstand this tension and create something new! After all, this is how a family nest is born?

10. Show each other baby pictures. Every person has an inner child. And you can look into his eyes through children's photos. Sometimes, during times of disagreement, being able to see your significant other as a child can explain many problems and resolve conflicts.

11. Go on a picnic. This is incomparable with gatherings at home or going to a cafe. Again, the power of nature, the power of a blanket and a basket of food! Girls, don't forget to wear a hat. This look is perfect for a picnic. It also makes a man admire you as the one who is able to create a unique atmosphere with her beauty in any situation.

12. Read a book to each other in the park or by the river. Sometimes this "task" can become very difficult. Many consider it banal, obsolete. But, alas, this only speaks of one's own indecision and embarrassment. It is not necessary to choose Pushkin's poems. Choose literature according to your spirit, and be sure that you will remember this moment forever.

13. Warm up by the fireplace. This is one of the ideal phone screensavers. They say you can look at fire forever. We agree, but only if a loved one is nearby. These are moments of special warmth of close souls. Love warms, for sure.

14. Arrange a romantic date after many years together. When it suddenly seems that being together is already habitual, romantic dates come to the rescue. He is in a shirt, and she is in a chic dress.

It is ideal to meet at your favorite restaurant and recognize in each other those who once talked all night long, worried about the slightest quarrel and read books in the park. Love loves dates very much, and it doesn't matter how many years you've been together.

15. Get married. This item is obligatory for all loving hearts. Every couple deserves personal vows, the opportunity to be together always in the name of love. Only this feeling is valuable, reverent and especially. And if you have found your love, then do not let her go, but give her the best place in life - in the family.

Love is like “Love is…” wrappers. They contain the most ordinary moments, but only they prove the power of love and the gift of being together.

What items would you add to your relationship diary? And which ones have already been made?

25 things a couple should do together at least once in their lives

Love and sex

Stability is wonderful. But in a relationship, habits can arise that are not far from routine and boredom. Here is a list of things that partners need to do together at least once in their lives to avoid them.

Psychologists have long been interested in the secrets of happy, long-lasting couples. Serious research has shown that four common features can be found in such relationships: 1) it is easy and pleasant for partners to communicate with each other; 2) they like the way they look together, that is, the couple has an attractive image; 3) they have great sex; 4) they make general plans for the future. Try to sort out for yourself a list of things that partners can benefit from doing together ... and feel free to add to it!

1. Look into each other's eyes for a long, long time. If it works out, then the whole evening is possible! Do not forget that a huge part of communication between people takes place non-verbally.

2. Dress up in strange clothes, such as Halloween costumes, and walk down the street as if nothing had happened. Unexpectedly, but this is very close.

3. Cook food together. And, of course, eat it afterwards. It's a great idea to accurately reproduce the recipe of the most favorite dish from childhood: the better you know each other's tastes, the better you feel for each other.

4. Long, passionate kiss in a crowded place. By the way, psychologists found that our body begins to produce the "happiness hormone" serotonin when we hug for at least 20 seconds. And if you want to increase the degree of emotions, first try loudly and temperamentally to find out the relationship - like in Italian films.

5. Send intimate photos and sms to each other. Are you saying you already? OK, then everything is fine.

6. Travel or fly to places you have never been before. You can close your eyes and poke your finger at the globe; you can buy a ticket at the station for the first nearest train; you can just go "for reconnaissance" in the neighborhood. New experiences can give shared emotions and memories for life.

7. Write a love letter. More precisely, two: he is for you - and vice versa. Write as best as you can, most importantly - sincerely. If only just to make sure that you know how to express your feelings. By the way, leaving each other funny, cute notes on the fridge or in your coat pocket every day works great too.

8. Giving gifts to each other for no reason . Once again: for no reason. Just come up with a nice surprise.

9. Pillow fight. Not only because it's great, like in childhood. But also because emotions (any, for example, aggression) are very useful to express in a safe way.

10. Kissing underwater. If everything goes well, you can continue.

11. Rise in a hot air balloon. Option: jump together with a parachute (and an instructor). Or admire the starry sky from the roof of an ordinary city house. In general, something that allows you to “rise above the fuss” and experience strong feelings without extreme risk is welcomed.

12. Make a snowman. Conscientiously, full size, with a carrot nose. Psychologists say that “it provides an opportunity to practice collaborative skills and creative thinking,” as well as just laugh and have fun.

13. Perform a striptease in turn. By the way, here you are also allowed to laugh and even laugh out loud.

14. Try all the Kama Sutra poses. Well, maybe not every single one - but you will definitely expand your horizons and decide on your preferences.

15. Read erotic prose aloud to each other. With expression. After that, you can proceed to water procedures.

16. Take a bubble bath together. If it is small at home, you can find another option.

17. Spend the night in a hotel without leaving your own city. Why? First, it is a luxurious romantic gesture. Secondly, you can feel like “perfect strangers” again. And thirdly - take the notorious bubble bath!

18. Get a massage or do yoga together. Both perfectly synchronize sensations and improve body contact.

19. Learn to dance the tango (if you don't dance yet, which is a pity).

20. Write bucketlist . Let your imagination run wild and let it work on making a list of future goals, plans and common tasks.

21. Go to a luxury car dealership and choose the most luxurious car. Discuss its strengths and weaknesses in detail; good to do a test drive. You can also buy it ... well, or a little later.

22. Stay in bed all day. Who said "there is nothing more to do"? Lazy day is a great compatibility training. Eat, sleep, watch TV shows and kiss. By the way, finding a series that captures both is a huge plus for any couple.
