Read Eufeeling and the Power of Intention: Achieving Inner Harmony and Well-Being in Life - Frank Kinslow - Page 16

    KEY POINTS FOR CHAPTER 9

    • When a person's awareness expands to an awareness of the Universe, universal wisdom guides his actions.

    • Error of the ego: due to lack of contact with pure awareness the ego feels a deep inner emptiness. It turns away from the Eufeeling and tries to fill this void with material worldly things.

    • Whether or not you suffer in this world depends entirely on your point of view.

    • The reason we can't create a better life for ourselves is because it's already perfect. We just don't recognize this perfection.

    • Our system of beliefs and beliefs helps us explain our constant and daily observations of events and phenomena that we have no control over.

    • When you do Quantum Shift and become aware of Eufeeling, you are aware of your True "I" on the throne of creation.

    • The ultimate realization is in knowing that life is perfect just the way it is.

    • The understanding of wholeness is the perception of perfection.

    • The less you do, the more perfection will be reflected in your life. Do nothing and a perception of perfection beyond belief will come to you.

    Chapter 10 PERCEPTION OF PERFECTION

If the doors of perception were clean, everything would appear to a person as it is - infinite.

    William Blake

    A question of perspective

We humans have come into being in very specific circumstances under very specific circumstances. We inhabit an incredibly narrow part of this universe. In terms of our physical presence, we are intermediate between the atom and the galaxy. Our minds cannot comprehend the vastness of the galaxy, nor the microscopic distance between atoms. The conditions for our survival on Earth are also limited to very narrow limits. For example, we can only exist in a very small temperature range. One has only to open the door to outer space, and we will find ourselves at a temperature approaching absolute zero. How cold is it? Absolute zero is -273°C. Almost like January in Michigan. Compare the temperature in space to the temperature at the center of the Sun (50 million degrees Celsius), almost like we have in South Florida in the summer. Of course I'm kidding.

On Earth, too, there are temperature contrasts from +58°С to -89°С, and the average temperature is approximately +15°С. By comparing cosmic contrasts with earthly contrasts, you can appreciate how vulnerable our position is. Only slight fluctuations in one direction or another are enough, and all people will disintegrate into atoms, from which they were formed.

Our ability to sense our environment is also limited to an extremely narrow set of sensory experiences. Our senses perceive only the grossest manifestations of creation. If you put your elbows on the table, it feels and looks solid. But from the point of view of physics, the table is almost completely devoid of substance. Wave vibrations, subatomic particles, molecules, and so on, produce a feeling of solidity, much like a rapidly spinning fan blade appears to be a solid circle. We interact with our world based on how we perceive it.

Next, consider the force of gravity. From the point of view of Newton's physics and Einstein's theory of relativity, it is different. But more than that, it shows how perception affects our thinking. We can draw a parallel between Newtonian physics and normal sensory perception. Generally speaking, Newton's laws reflect life at a normal level of perception through the senses: touch, sight, hearing, and so on. On the other hand, relativistic quantum mechanics describes the forces that govern very large and very small quantities that are outside of normal human sensory perception.

We all know that gravity is a force that attracts. A larger body like the Sun attracts a smaller body like the Earth towards itself. The Big Earth attracts smaller objects such as water, rocks and people. When we toss a rock up, we run off to the side, because we know that gravity will pull it back to the ground. In fact, the force of gravity does not attract like a magnet. In fact, smaller objects are attracted to larger space-time. I know, it seems obscure, but only because we are used to thinking of gravity as an attractive force. We can see that things are attracted to the earth and feel the gravity in our own body. The influence of space and time is much more abstract. But here is a simple illustration for you that will completely turn your perception around and free you from the misconception that gravity is an attractive force.

Let's say you're looking down from a 10th floor window. Below you is a large round object in the middle of the rectangle. Then you see a person approaching the outer edge of the rectangle. It places a small object on the inner edge of the rectangle. When he releases the small object, it is immediately attracted to the large object in the middle of the rectangle. Your first thought is that the big round object is a magnet and the small object must be made of iron.

When you take the elevator down to the first floor and go outside, you see that the rectangular object is actually a trampoline. In the middle of the trampoline is not a magnet, but a regular plastic bowling ball. It turns out that the small object is a glass ball. Your first thought: How can plastic attract glass? You then notice that the trampoline net has sagged under the weight of the bowling ball. You pick up the ball and place it on the edge of the trampoline. When you let him go, he does exactly the same thing that you observed earlier from the tenth floor. The ball rolls towards the bowling ball until it hits it. Now you know that the ball was not attracted to the big ball, but rolled towards it, because the level of the edge of the trampoline is higher than the level of the big ball, which formed a depression in the trampoline net. If the trampoline mesh were at the same level as the ball, it would not roll anywhere at all.

Large objects like planets stretch or distort what is called the fabric of space-time, just like a bowling ball made a hole in the fabric of a trampoline. Einstein discovered that gravity is actually a pushing force, and this discovery, along with the advent of quantum mechanics, revolutionized the field of physics. As a result of this shift in perspective, we have experienced a technological revolution that has touched the lives of literally every person on earth.

Not all people are strongly attached to their feelings. There are special people whose sensations go beyond the ordinary sensations of physical objects. But we are all endowed with the ability to feel not only with the help of the known five senses. For some people extrasensory perception is already developed by nature, while others have yet to develop it. They are able to see, hear, feel more subtle energies. Among people with heightened sensitivity, one can find healers and intuitives who communicate in spirit with disembodied teachers, angels and other subtle-energy beings, shamans, yogis, and many others initiated into secret teachings. To people whose feelings recognize only the obvious, it may seem that these sensitive people work wonders. To a mind that perceives reality through ordinary senses, these people may seem strange, out of place. But their value cannot be denied.

    Knowledge is ignorance

Whatever you perceive in your mind or in your environment, your perception is distorted. Perception can never be 100% accurate. No two people see the world in the same way. This was also Einstein's discovery. People are separated by time and space, which makes each person's point of view different from that of any other person.

Similarly, two people cannot have the same knowledge, and therefore the same understanding. Full agreement with another is delusion. You may think that you are in wonderful agreement with the other person, but once you delve into your own beliefs and perceptions, you will immediately find the point where your opinions differ. Have you ever thought that you and someone you know had the same opinion on some issue, and then found that you misunderstood each other? In such a situation, it turns out that each of us lives in his own cocoon, woven from the threads of his own individual perceptions and beliefs. Regrettably, this is also an illusion.

My books are an accurate account of the teaching method used by the Mexican Indian sorcerer don Juan Matus to help me understand the world of sorcerers. In this sense, my books reflect a continuous ongoing process that has become clearer to me over time. It takes many years of practice to teach us how to behave intelligently in the world of everyday life. Our training - in the realm of simple reasoning or formal subjects - is carried out in a very thorough manner, since the knowledge we receive is very complex. The same criteria apply to the world of sorcerers; the training in magic based on verbal instructions and manipulation of awareness, although very different from our academic training, is carried out no less carefully because their knowledge is perhaps even more complex.

At various times, at my request, don Juan tried to name his knowledge. He thought that the most appropriate name would be "nagualism", but this term is too obscure. To call it simply "knowledge" would be a misrepresentation of its essence, and to call it "witchcraft" would be downright humiliating. "Mastering the intention of " is too abstract, and "the search for complete freedom" is too long and metaphorical. In the end, unable to find a better name, he agreed to call it "magic" [1] , although he acknowledged that this term is not accurate enough. Over the years of our acquaintance, he had already given me several definitions of magic, but he always emphasized that they change as knowledge is accumulated. As I neared the end of my apprenticeship, I felt that I could now understand a clearer definition, so I turned to don Juan again.

"From the point of view of the average person," don Juan said, "magic is nonsense or a sinister mystery beyond his comprehension. And he's right - not because it's true - it's just that the average person doesn't have the energy to deal with magic.

After a short silence, he continued:

    – Human beings are born with a limited amount of energy, which, starting from the moment of birth, is continuously deployed in such a way that it can be used by the modality of time in the most beneficial way.

    - What do you mean by "modality of time"? I asked.

The modality of time is a certain node of the energy fields located in the zone of perception,” he answered. – I believe that human perception has changed over the centuries. A certain time corresponds to a certain form, a certain knot from an infinite number of energy fields. And mastery time modality - these few select fields - takes away all the energy we have, leaving us no opportunity to use any other energy fields.

With a barely noticeable movement of his eyebrows, he suggested that I think about all this.

"That's what I mean when I say that the average person lacks the energy to practice magic," he continued. “If he uses only the energy that he has available, he cannot comprehend the worlds that sorcerers perceive. To perceive them, magicians need to use a normally unused beam of energy. Naturally, an ordinary person, in order to perceive and understand the world of magicians, would have to use the same beam that they used. However, this is not possible for him, because all his energy is already involved.

He stopped for a moment, as if looking for the right words.

    - Think of it this way: all this time you have been studying not magic, but rather the ability to conserve energy. And this energy will give you the opportunity to master some of the energy fields that are not available to you now. That's what magic is: the ability to use energy fields that are not involved in the perception of the everyday world known to us. Magic is a state of consciousness. Magic is the ability to perceive something that is not available to ordinary perception .

“Everything I put you through,” don Juan continued, “everything I showed you, was all just a means to convince you that there is more to the world than we can see. There is no need for someone to teach us magic, because in fact there is nothing that needs to be learned. We only need a teacher who can convince us of the tremendous power at our fingertips. What a strange paradox! Every warrior on the path of knowledge thinks at one time or another that he is studying magic; but all he does is allows himself to be convinced that there is a power hidden in his very being and that he can master it.

“And all you do, don Juan, is just convince me?

    - That's right. I am trying to convince you that you can master this Power . At one time I went through the same thing. And I was just as hard to convince as you are now.

"But what exactly do we do with her after we have possessed her, don Juan?"

    - Nothing. As soon as we master it, it will itself begin to set in motion energy fields that are available to us, but are not at our disposal. This, as I said, is magic. In this case, we start to see , that is, to perceive something different, but not as imaginary, but as real and concrete. And then we start to know without any words whatsoever. But what exactly each of us does with his increased perception depends on his temperament.

The next time he gave me a different kind of explanation. We were discussing a completely extraneous topic, and suddenly he abruptly changed the subject of the conversation and began to tell me something funny. Then he laughed and slapped me very softly on the back between my shoulder blades, as if he were ashamed of his liberties towards me. Noticing my nervousness, he chuckled.

“You are shy,” he said, teasing me, and slapped me on the back much harder.

My ears are ringing. For a moment, my breath caught. I thought it hurt my lungs. Every breath was a real torment for me. But when I caught my breath and cleared my throat, I felt that my nose had opened and I could breathe deeply and calmly. I felt so good that I did not even get angry at don Juan, whose blow was so strong and unexpected.

Then don Juan began his very remarkable explanation. Clearly and concisely, he gave me another, more precise definition of magic.

I entered an amazing state of awareness! My mind was so clear that I was able to understand and absorb everything don Juan said. He said that there is an immeasurable, indescribable force in the Universe, which magicians call intention , and absolutely everything that exists in the Universe is connected to intention by a connecting link. Wizards - or warriors, as he called them - are trying to understand and use this link. They are especially concerned about cleansing it from the paralyzing influence of the everyday worries of ordinary life.

At this level magic can be defined as the process of clearing our link with intention . Don Juan emphasized that it was extremely difficult to teach this "cleansing procedure" as well as to understand it. So sorcerers divided their instructions into two classes. The first is the instructions for the normal state of awareness, in which the clearing process is carried out in disguise. The second is instructions for states of heightened awareness, one of which I am right now in, and in which sorcerers receive knowledge directly from intentions , bypassing the distracting interference of spoken language.

Don Juan explained that through the use of heightened awareness over thousands of years of hard struggle, sorcerers had gained special insight into the intentions of and that they had passed on these treasures of direct knowledge from generation to generation up to the present. He said that the task of magic is to make this seemingly incomprehensible knowledge intelligible from the point of view of the awareness of everyday life.

He then explained the role of a leader in the lives of sorcerers. He said that such a leader is called a "Nagual" and that a Nagual is a man or woman with extraordinary energy; he is a teacher of sobriety, fortitude and stability. Such a person is seen by seers as a luminous sphere having four compartments, as if four luminous balls were squeezed together. Because of this extraordinary energy, the Naguals are the mediators of the . Their energy allows them to receive peace, harmony, knowledge and laughter directly from the source - from intentions , and pass it all on to your comrades. Naguals are able to provide what sorcerers call a "minimum chance": a person's awareness of connection with intention . I told him that my mind is able to understand everything he tells me, and that only one point in his explanation is still unclear: why two kinds of training are needed. I could easily understand everything he said about his world, although he claimed that the process of understanding is very difficult.

“It may take you a lifetime to remember the insights you had today,” he said, “because most of them are silent knowledge . In a few seconds, you will forget it all. This is one of the unfathomable mysteries of awareness.

Don Juan then shifted my level of awareness by stabbing me from the side on the left side of my chest.

Suddenly I lost an extraordinary clarity of mind, and did not even remember that I had just had it ...

Don Juan himself set me the task of making notes about the premises of magic. Once, at an early stage of my apprenticeship, he casually suggested that I write a book in order to somehow use the diaries that I kept constantly. I had piled up mountains of them, and I couldn't decide what to do with them.

I objected that this proposal was absurd, since I am not a writer.

“Of course you're not a writer,” he replied, “so you'll have to use magic. First, you need to visualize your experience so that it comes alive before you, and then you have to see the text in your dreams . Thus, writing should not be a literary exercise for you, but rather an exercise in magic.

And so it happened that, in the context of teaching, I wrote about the premises of magic at the same time as don Juan's explanations. In his training scheme, developed by the magicians of antiquity, there were two categories of instructions. One was called "training for the right side" and was carried out in the normal state. The second, "learning for the left side," was done only in a state of heightened awareness.

These two types of training allowed teachers to introduce their students to three areas of special knowledge: mastering awareness, the art of stalking and mastering intention .

These three areas of special knowledge are the three problems that the magician faces in his search for knowledge.

The art of stalking is a problem of the heart; sorcerers come to a dead end, beginning to realize two things. The first is that the world appears to us indestructibly objective and real due to the peculiarities of our awareness and perception, and the second is that if other features of perception are involved, then the ideas about the world that seemed so objective and real change.

Mastering the intention is a problem of the spirit [2] , or a paradox of the abstract , – the thoughts and actions of sorcerers go beyond our human awareness.

Don Juan's instructions regarding the art of stalking and mastering intention are linked to his instructions on mastering awareness, the cornerstone of his teaching, which consists of the following basic premises:

    1. The universe is an endless collection of energy fields like threads of light .

    2. These energy fields, called "Eagle emanations", radiate from a source of unfathomable dimensions, metaphorically called "Eagle".

    3. Human beings also consist of an uncountable number of the same thread-like energy fields. These emanations of the Eagle form closed clusters like gigantic luminous eggs, which manifest as balls of light the size of a human body with arms protruding from the sides.

    4. Only a small group of energy fields inside this luminous ball is illuminated by a point of intense brightness located on the surface of the ball.

    5. Perception takes place when the energy fields from this small group, immediately surrounding the bright spot, spread their light and illuminate identical energy fields outside the ball. Since only those fields are perceived that are illumined by a point of bright radiance, this point is called the "point where perception gathers", or simply the "assemblage point" [3] .

    6. The assemblage point can be moved from its position on the surface of the luminous ball to other places on the surface or inside the ball. Because glow 9Assemblage point 0079 can illuminate all energy fields it comes into contact with, it immediately illuminates new energy fields making them receptive. This perception is known as vision .

    7. When assemblage point shifts, it becomes possible to perceive a completely different world - just as objective and real as the one that we usually perceive. Magicians go to that other world to get strength, energy, solution of general and particular problems, or to face the unimaginable face to face.

    8. Intention is the penetrating force that enables us to perceive. We do not realize through perception, but rather we perceive as a result of pressure and interference intentions .

    9. The goal of sorcerers is to achieve full awareness in order to master all the possibilities available to man. This state of awareness even suggests a completely different way of passing away from life.

    * * *

Part of learning to master awareness is practical knowledge. On this practical level, don Juan taught me and others the steps necessary for shift assemblage points . The ancient magicians seers discovered two great systems to achieve this: dreaming as a control and way of using dreams and stalking behavior control.

Shifting assemblage point is an important action that every magician should learn. Some of them, Naguals, must learn to do it for others as well. They are able to move the assemblage point out of its normal position by striking directly at it with a strong blow. This blow, which is felt as a jolt to the right shoulder blade—although the bodies are never directly touched—leads to a state of heightened awareness.

According to tradition, don Juan expounded to his disciple the most important and dramatic part of his teaching exclusively in these states of heightened awareness. This part contained instructions for the "left side". Because of the unusual quality of these states, don Juan demanded that I should not discuss them with anyone until he and I had completed our training in the scheme of sorcerers. It was not difficult to accept such a demand. In these unique states, my ability to understand instructions increased tremendously, but at the same time, the ability to describe or even remember them completely disappeared. While in these states, I could act clearly and confidently, but I was not able to remember anything about them when I returned to normal.

It took me years to be able to critically translate my heightened awareness experience into ordinary memory.
