Secondary Personality Type: Socializer

Secondary personality types are used by Hire Success® to help you understand the finer points and aspects of someone’s personality. The process begins by determining which of the four main personality types — A, B, C or D — a person matches. But afterward, we can explore the character trait descriptions and determine a secondary personality type that gives more insight into how a person acts and reacts in various situations in the workplace, as well as which work environments they do best in. Here, we’ll examine the Socializer personality type.

How to identify a Socializer personality type

Socializers, not surprisingly, are outgoing and social. These people really want others to like them. But Socializers are not afraid to voice their opinions — sometimes at length and to the annoyance of their coworkers.

Maybe you’ve observed some of these qualities in a job candidate. Review the Socializer personality traits listed below to see if any of them apply as well.

Socializer Personality Traits

  • Unusual ability to get along with others
  • Needs to be popular
  • Makes other people feel comfortable
  • May overcompliment at times
  • Will be upset if someone doesn’t like them
  • Initiates good ideas — won’t necessarily finish them
  • Jumps from one activity to another
  • Good talker
  • Isn’t afraid to let others know where they stand
  • Disappointed if others do not readily provide feedback
  • Draws out info from others by asking questions
  • Excessive wordiness frustrating to many others

What are the best Socializer career options?

Socializers generally feel comfortable in an environment where they can talk, ask questions, and learn about others. They do well working in partnerships and teams, where they’re good at making others feel included, and prefer to be in situations where they can get regular feedback on their performance. They may also have a tendency to jump from one activity or project to the next, which can make them seem flighty or unsettled; however, their ability to get along with all kinds of people generally makes them well-liked at work.

Good Socializer career options include roles that allow them to use their outgoing, friendly nature and desire to get to know and communicate with others. Any of the following roles would be a natural choice for a Socializer: real estate agent, host/hostess, salesperson, teacher, therapist, nurse, customer service agent, or human resources professional.

Culture and personality

Questions:

7.1 Individual world of culture.

7.2 Problems of personal cultural identity.

7.1 Individual world of culture

Culture is a specific human mode of activity aimed at creating spiritual and material values, the result of which is a dynamic system of symbols, ideals, models, traditions, norms of behavior, embodied in the social development of a person, in his spiritual world. And this means that it is man who creates culture, but at the same time culture creates man. Thus, by virtue of its human-created and at the same time human-creative essence, culture in all its manifestations, types, types, forms is turned to a person as a mirror, looking into which, he strives to know and understand himself deeper, to become more interesting, more attractive, better.

The appeal of culture to man, while remaining constant in essence, changes all the time in its directions, forms of expression. Historically and logically, they are deployed on three ascending "tiers" one above the other. At the first, mythological stage of its development in the conditions of primitive, primitive human communities, it recreates a person in his general, generic qualities, as evidenced by numerous paleological figurines of women or rock carvings of hunters, where individuality is unchanged, and the generic features of a woman or a man clearly dominate hunter. At the second stage of historical development, in the era of the existence of ancient civilizations and their cultures, special features of a certain social community come to the fore and become dominant, clearly manifested in the images of ancient Egyptian warriors, Indian dancers, ancient Greek heroes or Roman legionnaires. In both the first and second cases, personality in works of art has not yet been revealed in works of culture; it is first embodied in biblical stories, and then becomes more clearly manifested in the works of the Renaissance and Enlightenment7.

Stages of interaction between cultures and personality. Of course, these three components of the truncated pyramid are closely related to each other in such a way that it is enough to eliminate one of them for the entire system of culture to be destroyed. After all, each personality is formed in a certain social community

70

(family, ethnic, territorial, socio-cultural, etc.) and bears traces of its influence, but each community can function holistically only thanks to the integral and regulatory role of models, norms, standards of culture. The latter is created only by people, and each such example of culture, its masterpiece is created by a very specific personality. V.A. Mozart, I. Bach, W. Shakespeare, L.N. Tolstoy, F.M. Dostoevsky, Leonardo da Vinci, S. Dali or anyone else, but always a specific person, representing a unique personality.

By creating a work of art by his creative activity, an outstanding personality voluntarily or involuntarily transfers to the product of his work - a novel, an artistic canvas, a sculpture, a piece of music, etc. - the stamp of his personal individuality. How could anyone, except B. Michelangelo, create the famous “Pieta” or the ceiling painting of the Sistine Chapel in the Cathedral of St. Peter in Rome? And who, besides L. Tolstoy, could write "War and Peace"? Who, except P.I. Tchaikovsky, - the ballet "Swan Lake"? Who, except for Ch. Chaplin, is to stage the film "City Lights?". Only individuality helps a true creator in art, science, philosophy, politics, religion to break outdated ideas and stereotypes, overcome thinking and action that fetter the initiative and energy of people, introduce new plots, new patterns, new content and forms into the development of culture.

Personal socialization. The culture created by the creative activity of a person, having taken the form of an embodiment of an ideal, an idea in a specific work, whether it be a novel, an opera, a sculpture, a temple, a religious doctrine, etc., itself becomes a powerful creator and shaper of the individual, the most important prerequisite and factor in the socialization of the individual. Socialization is a two-way process, which includes, on the one hand, the assimilation of social experience, ideals, values and norms of culture by an individual by entering the social environment, into the system of social interactions with other people, and on the other hand, the process of active reproduction of social experience, values , norms, standards of behavior, through its active social activity.

A very important socializing role in the formation of personality is played by the system of culture. Representing a self-developing system of creative human activity and the products of this activity in the form of values, norms, rules, patterns of behavior, culture has a decisive influence on the formation and development of the individual. The great Russian writer F.M. Dostoevsky saw an important socializing mission of fiction and culture in general in that it takes two steps towards man. Its first step is to make a person out of an individual who has his own unique, unique "I", because before becoming someone: a peasant, an engineer, a doctor, a writer, etc. , a person must first become himself (later the American sociologist Ch. Cooley called it "the self"). But if culture confines itself to this step only, then the formed “I” will be able to become proud of itself,

71

to ascend in their desires above all people, which is manifested in individualism, narcissism, may even in their conceit and self-exaltation "transcend the law", i.e. become a criminal. Therefore, F.M. Dostoevsky, the second step of culture towards a person is necessary, which consists in forming in him the habit and need to treat another person exactly as a person, to respect his aspirations, thoughts, views, beliefs, his position. Only by following this path, culture is able to form a socially developed, spiritually rich personality, in which aspirations for truth, goodness and beauty are organically combined.

Thus, the socializing role of culture is inextricably linked with individualization - a process in which the selectivity of each individual in the assimilation of certain norms or values of culture is manifested. In the work of the same F.M. Dostoevsky, we find an extensive gallery of individualized personality types - the narcissistic individualist Nikolai Stavrogin, the kind, gentle and disinterested "idiot" - Lev Myshkin, the cynical analyst - rebel Ivan Karamazov, the kind and selfless Sonechka Marmeladova, etc.

The organic complementarity of the socializing and individualizing functions of culture is perfectly embodied in the works of L.N. Tolstoy, O. de Belzac and other outstanding masters of culture, found its refraction and concretization in the activities of American sociologists, champions of cultural determinism (F. Boaz, R. Benedict, M. Mead). R. Benedict, in particular, argued that personalities are tiny copies of the culture surrounding them, therefore "culture is a prescription of the individual." Substantiating the decisive role of culture in the social development of the individual, M. Mead concluded: "culture is the source of personality."

7.2 Problems of personal cultural identity

The variety of variants of conjugation of culture and personality that exists in modern society leads to the emergence of various psychocultural types of personality. Currently, there are several approaches to personality typology in the context of its interaction with the sociocultural environment. Very influential, in particular, is the variant of personality typology, which originates from the classic works of the outstanding Swiss psychoanalyst K.G. Cabin boy. He believed that the potential center of personality is the archetype "self", which manifests its constitutive features in the process of personal identification of the individual. However, the embodiment of the self as the core of the individual occurs in different ways, depending on the features identified by K.G. Jung of two main personality types. The first of these is an extroverted person, open to others and sociable, her mental energy is oriented outward, towards social interactions with other people. The second type is an introverted personality, whose psychoenergetics is turned inward;0003

72

veins shyness, withdrawal, avoidance of risk and social interactions.

Based on the classification of personality types carried out back in 1923 by K. G. Jung, and on the indicator of personality types developed on the basis of this classification by K. Brig and I. Mayer, American experts in the field of social psychology O. Kroeger and J. Tewson identified 16 personality psychotypes, knowledge of which helps to resolve interpersonal problems that arise in management, politics , love, culture and other fields of activity. Typological features of people, according to O. Kroeger and J.M. Tewson can be divided into four pairs of opposing preferences:

– Extraverted – Introverted;

- Touch - Intuitive;

-Thinking - Feeling;

- Decisive - Perceiving.

An extrovert is characterized by external manifestations of energy, sociability, active interaction with other people, the breadth of connections with them, active expenditure of mental energy, impulsiveness in feelings, expressions and actions.

In contrast, introverts are distinguished by isolation, concentration, inner depth and intensity of experiences and feelings, limited connections with others, mainly internal reaction to ongoing events, thoughtfulness, preservation of mental energy, the ability to isolate themselves from conversations and telephone calls, to concentrate their attention on some then the problem.

Thinking type of person is able to remain calm and restrained in situations in which others lose self-control, is characterized by an analytical mindset, impartiality, firmness, objectivity, clarity, seeks to settle a dispute not for the sake of good, but in the name of truth, has a strong-willed rather than soft character, believes that it is more important to be right than to please someone, relies most often on rational arguments and scientifically based theories, is able to make difficult decisions.

The feeling type of personality is distinguished by focus on the feelings of oneself and other people, kindness, sensitivity, humanity, changing moods and opinions depending on the circumstances, striving for agreement and compromise, conflicts lead him into confusion.

The decisive personality type differs from others in decisiveness, planning of his actions (he clearly knows, waking up in the morning, what he will do during the day and even a week), he is a champion of order: there are no extra papers on the desktop, he likes to bring everything to the end, he is demanding to himself and others, prefers closeness, certainty, the desire to solve problems and manage people and circumstances, rather than obey them.

In contrast to the decisive one, the perceiving type of personality most often does not set tasks for himself, but waits for it to become clear what is required of him

73

, makes a dash at the last minute to meet the deadline, does not differ in organization and accuracy, does not likes to be obliged by something, prefers not to rush into a decision, has nothing against uncertainty.

The sensory type usually concentrates on what he is doing at the moment, without thinking about what will follow, prefers the kind of work that brings tangible results, does not think about his future career, is satisfied with what he has, and does not understand why some strive to improve everything, likes to deal with facts and figures, rather than ideas and theories, is dissatisfied when they do not receive clear instructions, it is easier to perceive details than the whole picture.

The intuitive type tends to think about several things at once, finds the future and what it brings intriguing rather than frightening, tends to be more preoccupied with what will be rather than what is, tries to connect between things, not taking everything for granted, is inclined to give general answers to questions and does not understand why many do not understand him and want him to speak more clearly.

The typological features of the described psycho-cultural personality types are somehow manifested in the line of their manifestations in various fields of activity, including the assimilation of values and norms of culture, in constructive, creative activity in this area. It is quite easy to distinguish the influence of psychocultural personality types of two outstanding figures of Russian literature, two contemporaries - the extraverted and predominantly intuitive personality type of A.S. Pushkin and the introverted-feeling type of personality I.A. Krylov - on the content, direction, plots, forms of expression of their literary work.

From the point of view of the features of the inclusion of people not only in the cultural, but also in the wider - social, economic, political, everyday sphere of their activity, cultural studies constructs a different typology of socio-cultural personality types. The most common of these is a specific type of personality - modal.

This term is used to denote the type of personality most frequently encountered in society at a certain stage of its development, embodying, as it were, in an averaged and concentrated form, the most characteristic personal characteristics of individuals, formed by the types of culture, worldview, social assessments that dominate in this society, socially - economic conditions. For example, during the years of the first five-year plans, modal personality types in the Soviet Union could combine the so-called “nominees” - people who were promoted to leadership positions or sent to study at workers' schools and universities “from the machine”, “from collective farm fields”, in order to form the social stratum of managers and specialists devoted to Soviet power. The modal personality type is meant when one speaks of an “average” American, a “typical” Japanese or Ukrainian.

74

Along with the modal, really dominant or prevailing in society, there is the so-called basic personality type. The characteristic of this type of personality involves obtaining an answer to the question: what criteria should an individual meet in order for his activity personal potential to be realized with the greatest effect in a socially mature and active subject of the historical process at a certain stage of the socio-economic, political and socio-cultural development of society. The basic personality type is a characteristic of a person who, through an extensive network of micro-relations with various people, objects, communities, events, shows through a very specific configuration of deep moral macro-relations - to the fatherland, to work, to people, nature, culture, humanity and its future, configuration, corresponding to a well-defined stage in the development of society and its movement towards a better future. This is a kind of standard, which a conscientious and active citizen of the country, who does not forget about the fate of mankind, should strive to comply with. And if these relations in their content correspond to the national interests of their country and universal human values and constantly affect the goals that a person sets for himself and which encourage him to be constantly active in achieving these goals, then this individual will correspond to the characterological features of the basic type personality.

And the indicators of the real embodiment of these characterological features in the life of individuals and their groups will be the moral caliber of their actions and the nature of the consequences of these actions both directly for this individual and for society, at the key points of his life path. And such points inevitably arise for every person when graduating from school or university, when choosing a life partner, when appointed to a prestigious position or high post or when unexpectedly dismissed from it, and especially in extreme situations such as the occupation of Belarus during the Patriotic War, the German fascist invaders, the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster or the socio-economic crisis that hit the former Soviet republics, now independent states, as a result of the collapse of the Soviet Union.

In sociology and social psychology, a specific type of personality is usually distinguished, called marginal. For the first time, the concept of "marginal person" was introduced by the famous American sociologist R. Park back in the late 20s of our century in the study of interethnic conflicts. Marginals he called those people who are, as it were, on the border between two or more social groups, but are not accepted by any of them as full participants. The main signs of a marginal type of personality are as follows: serious doubts about one's personal worth, uncertainty about ties with one's immediate social environment, in particular with friends and constant fear of being rejected, a tendency to avoid uncertain situations rather than risk humiliation, painful shyness in the presence of others, in lane

75

a lot of strangers, loneliness and excessive suspiciousness, excessive worry about the future and fear of any risky action, inability to enjoy fully and the belief that others treat him unfairly. Individuals of the marginal type usually face difficulties in making moral choices. They are usually convinced that no matter what they do, no matter what choice of actions they make, someone will be dissatisfied with them. In extreme cases, marginals can reach such a degree of alienation from themselves, followed by social degradation of the individual, its depersonalization. Such situations are especially typical in societies that are going through difficult ups and downs of socio-economic and socio-cultural transformations.

At the same time, sociological studies have established that marginal individuals, less attached to a single system of values and accustomed to taking into account and accepting various possible decisions and orientations, are able to carry out less standard, more creative activities. In this case, they are able to lead ethnic and political movements, to become prominent cultural figures. The most characteristic examples here are the activities of such radically different personalities who grew up among the marginalized, such as M. Gorky on the one hand, A. Hitler and B. Mussolini, on the other, very different in content and direction.

Recently, in popular rumor, in the media, and in sociological publications in the CIS countries and beyond, the term “new Russians”, “new Belarusians” is increasingly heard, behind which a truly new social type of personality is emerging, emerging in a modern society that is undergoing a complex and difficult transition from a totalitarian socio-economic system and a socially oriented market economy to a democratic constitutional state. This type of personality is characterized by high social activity and enterprise, not very strict (in terms of morality) selection of means and ways leading to success, primarily to high profits. He is not very burdened with a commitment to high spiritual values, but he is very tenacious, tenacious and socially stable in various life situations, including crisis and conflict.

Almost simultaneously, the term mafia personality type entered into scientific and everyday life. Such a personality type develops in the conditions of the growing criminalization of the post-Soviet society. In the pursuit of high income, people of this type are ready for any violation of morality and rights - embezzlement, bribery, bribery, blackmail, hostage-taking, murder, etc. And most often they do not act alone, but are organized in close-knit, secret , active and violent mafia groups.

The deep transformation of all systems and structures of the post-Soviet society - economic, social, political, cultural, ethno-national, professional, etc. - requires the formation of a new type of personality - democratic. This type is characterized by the priority

76

rights and freedoms of the individual, activity and deep awareness of the social position, high moral criteria for evaluating the activities of both one's own and other people, their groups, parties, movements, etc., high purposefulness , social responsibility in their value orientations and daily activities, the ability for creative self-expression.

Depending on the depth and strength of cultural influence, people can be divided into two large groups. The first are those who are entirely or to a greater extent dependent on circumstances and other people. They always claim that circumstances are stronger than they are, that the current situation does not give them the opportunity to achieve the desired success (in school, work, politics, sports, etc.), that others interfere with them, blocking their actions aimed at achieving a goal or solution. assigned task. Their everyday conversations are replete with phrases such as “Nothing can be done”, “Nothing depends on me”, “I have to do this”, “They will never give me this job”, “It will drive me to a psychiatric hospital”, etc. The second group consists of such individuals who are always self-confident, ready to make every effort to change circumstances for the better, actively overcome any obstacles on the way to the goal, and difficulties do not weaken their will, but, on the contrary, mobilize both will and mind , and available means to successfully solve the problem. They are characterized by such expressions: “I will try to prove my need”, “It is necessary to solve the problem under any circumstances”, “We will go over all possible options”, “Let's go the other way”, “I will definitely achieve it”.

The actions of the first type of personality - let's call it a reactive type personality - most often unfold according to the scheme: "stimulus - reaction". Such people are highly dependent on the natural and social environment. When the weather is good, they feel great, if the weather is bad, they are depressed, gloomy, irritable. Such a person depends even more on “social weather”. If they treat him well, take care of him, indulge his desires and tastes, he has a great mood, but if all this is not there, he is irritable, embittered, not satisfied with either other people or himself. A person of this type attributes all his failures and defeats to circumstances or someone's malicious intent. He subordinates himself more and more to external influences, increasingly feels like a victim, unable to control the situation and therefore not responsible for his deeds and actions, for his fate. This is expressed in endless complaints about injustice and accusations of people around them of their callousness, unkindness, incapacity, etc. sphere of influence to shrink while expanding their sphere of significance.

The second type of personality is characterized by directly opposite social qualities and attitudes. In the behavior of such a person, between the stimulus and the reaction, a greater number of intermediate links appear, there is freedom of choice. It is the freedom of choice and active actions to implement this choice that turns a person into an active subject of life, capable of changing circumstances, influencing people around him to a greater or lesser extent, and acting purposefully and effectively. And this means that such a person, between the stimulus and the reaction, also has such links as the ability to analyze the situation and introspection, imagination, conscience, independent will, active value-oriented (action in the name of the values of conscience, honor, dignity, responsibility, etc. ). . p.) and goal-oriented action (active action to achieve the goal, rationally meaningful and accompanied by a choice of spectacular means that are adequate to the goal and sufficient to achieve it).

A person of this type - let's call her proactive - always acts actively and purposefully, she in no way depends in her affairs on whether it rains or the sun shines. Such a person, of course, takes into account the influence of the environment and the pressure of circumstances, but he acts not so much under their influence, but under the influence of the goal of the action - consciously chosen, carefully thought out and verified, which has become a vital need. A proactive personality is also influenced by external factors: physical, social, psychological, but its reaction to these influences, consciously or not, is value-oriented (i.e., focused on achieving some value - success, prestige, material well-being, etc. .) and goal-oriented (i.e., all her emotions, actions, value orientations are aimed at achieving a reasonably chosen goal). A person of this type often turns out to be above circumstances, knows how to subordinate them to himself, always controls the situation, is fully responsible to himself and others for his actions and deeds, for his fate. Such people also face physical pain, and troubles in official affairs, and misunderstanding, and injustice, but all these and other life hardships and trials become for them what character and will are tempered in, the desire and ability to overcome difficulties to achieve the goal. The positive and essentially creative mental energy generated at the same time, combined with an interest in improving the area of reality in which everyday life takes place, leads to success, encourages them to expand the sphere of their influence not only on themselves, but also on other people, but characteristic of them. areas of importance.

Of course, the proactive type of personality by its creative life activity is able to make a more significant contribution to the development of culture than the reactive, basic, than the marginal, decisive than perceiving. As for introverts and extroverts, sensory or intuitive, thinking or feeling types of personality, any of them, under favorable conditions, can, as the history of culture testifies, enrich the treasury of national and world culture with their creative activity.

Consideration of different types of personality makes it possible to turn the acquired knowledge into practically significant guidelines for everyday life. Each of us can translate this knowledge into an attitude, into a practical principle of self-control and self-realization. Self-control and self-realization is carried out by realizing the usefulness of certain life guidelines and skills. They are within our sphere of influence and can be defined as our personal successes and victories. And this means that everyone needs to start working on themselves. You just need to remember that it is in my power to find and mobilize internal resources in myself, to show will and stubbornness, a creative approach to the problems being solved, to subordinate my emotions and desires to a high goal, I strive not so much to have something as to be - to be active, strong-willed, purposeful, persistent, and then the features of the basic personality will be supplemented and enriched by the features of the personality of the modal, the features of the personality of the reactive type - by the features of the personality of the proactive type. Then the exciting problems will be less complex, the people around you will be more benevolent, and the goals you choose will be more achievable.

Questions for self-control

1. How do you understand the “human-created” and “human-creative” essences of culture?

2 What is the socializing role of the cultural system?

3. What typological features of people do you know?

4. What does "Modal personality type" mean?

Socializing potential of extracurricular activities | Article on the topic:

Socializing potential of extracurricular activities

Charnetskaya Zhanna Nikolaevna, Deputy Director for WRM of the school of the 1st stage of education, teacher of the world around the GOU secondary school with in-depth study of the English language No. 1234, Moscow, email: [email protected]

Introduction of the Federal Law of December 29, 2012 No. 273-FZ "On Education in the Russian Federation", the Federal State Educational Standard for Primary General Education (FGOS PEO), the Federal State Educational Standard for Basic General Education (FGOS LLC) - the most important events that determined the development education in the Russian Federation for the coming years.

The priority direction of the Federal State Educational Standard of the second generation is the development of the individual's potential, its positive socialization.

Article 2 of the Federal Law "On Education in the Russian Federation" uses the following basic concepts:

1) education is a single purposeful process of education and training ...;

2) upbringing - an activity aimed at developing the personality, creating conditions for self-determination and socialization of the student on the basis of sociocultural, spiritual and moral values and rules and norms of behavior accepted in society in the interests of a person, family, society and the state [1, p. 3-4].

In modern concepts of education, there are several definitions of the essence of education. A.V. Mudrik and D.I. Feldstein consider upbringing as the management of the process of socialization of the individual [7, p. 36-37].

“There is a special type of educational outcomes associated with the socialization of students. However, the task of socialization can be interpreted in different ways. The most fundamental difference is connected with the understanding of socialization either as adaptation to existing social conditions, or as providing the possibility of effective transformative activity in a changing society. The main content of the second understanding of socialization is the transfer of a child, a teenager into the position of an active member of civil society, capable of self-determination on the basis of values. Develop your own understanding of the goal, develop projects for the transformation of society and its individual institutions, and implement these projects” [6, p. 41].

Socialization is a continuous process that does not stop throughout life, starting from the birth of a child. A person receives the first elementary information in the family, then the school is connected to the process of socialization of the individual.

The essence of socialization lies in the fact that a person is formed as a member of society, is included in the social environment and activities, is formed as a product and as a subject of social relations. Socialization can be seen as adaptation to certain social conditions, passive adaptation to the social environment. But the phenomena of reality, the political, social, cultural sphere, changing conditions that we cannot ignore, contribute to the consideration of the process of socialization not as adaptation to the environment, but as integration into a certain environment. Two different forms of socialization are adaptation and integration, according to A.V. Mudrik, depend on the nature of the interaction of the individual with the social environment. As long as the environment is stable, a person feels comfortable in it, but as soon as changes occur, instability appears, a person experiences discomfort, stress, dissatisfaction, and life tragedy. Therefore, it is possible to concretize the goal of education as the development of a personality ready for socialization in the form of integration.

It is very important to carry out this work not on an intuitive level, but thoughtfully, systematically, using the technology of pedagogical management of socialization. Unsystematic, ill-conceived, insufficiently controlled, not taking into account the individual characteristics of the student, socialization can lead to a negative result, to negative and irreversible consequences.

Socialization, as a result of socialization, is the formation of personal and social qualities, attitudes, methods of social interaction that allow you to act effectively in non-standard, constantly changing circumstances and is a necessary condition for active self-awareness, self-improvement, achieving the desired level of development.

The socialization of the individual is carried out as a result of purposeful influence, the creation of psychological and pedagogical conditions, through the content of educational subjects and extracurricular activities.

Extracurricular activities (in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of the IEO) are organized in the areas of personal development (sports and recreation, spiritual and moral, social, general intellectual, general cultural), including through such forms as excursions, circles, sections, round tables, conferences , disputes, school scientific societies, olympiads, competitions, search and scientific research, socially useful practices [2, p. 16].

Extracurricular activities have a serious socializing potential, create conditions for social, cultural self-determination, creative self-realization of the child's personality, its integration into the system of world and domestic cultures, contribute to the disclosure of the child's individual abilities, which are not always manifested within the lesson.

In our educational organization, extracurricular activities are currently carried out systematically in the following courses: "Sports games", "Moral crops", "Meet me at the museum", "Path to your Self", "LEGO-world", "Journey to world of logic”, “World of activity”, “City where I live”, “World of professions”, “Project activity”.

Mastering the skills of cooperation in a group in the joint solution of a learning problem in compliance with ethical standards, the ability to explain one's disagreement and try to negotiate; in situations of communication and cooperation proposed by the teacher.

"Project activity"

Education of purposefulness and perseverance; a positive attitude towards self-education, the formation of communicative competence in cooperation, the acquisition by students of socially significant knowledge, the development of communication, independence and entrepreneurship.

“We will meet at the museum”

Development of high moral principles, moral feelings and ethical consciousness, the formation of citizenship, patriotism, and the formation of the ability to consciously build based on moral standards and unprofitable ideals of relations. , other people, society, state, nature, the world as a whole.

"The city where I live"

Familiarization of students with the cultural values of the past and present, fostering a value attitude to culture, including environmental culture, to the history of their native city; respect for nature, architectural monuments.

"Moral crops"

Formation of ecological systems thinking, the ability for spiritual development, moral self-improvement of the personality of a Russian citizen, the formation of ideas about these standards of the personality of a citizen of Russia.

"Sport Games"

Formation of a culture of jointly performed motor exercises, a sense of collectivism, highly moral and volitional qualities of a primary school student's personality.

"Path to one's "I"

"LEGO-world"

Self-development and development of the personality of each student in the process of mastering the world through his own creative objective activity; development of communicative competence of younger schoolchildren based on the organization of joint productive activities.

"World of Activity"

The first idea of personality traits that help to learn successfully; the formation of a primary positive experience of managing one's emotional state.

"World of Professions"

Acquaintance with their social significance of the world of professions, formation of a value attitude to work in general, responsibility, purposefulness in a group .

We consider the criteria for the effectiveness of socialization to be a high level of achievement of the system of basic values of society, the ability to act independently in non-standard conditions, education, breadth of knowledge, a high level of general culture, morality, intolerance to one’s own shortcomings, self-control, self-discipline, restraint, which will allow them to become full members of society, actively reproduce the system of social ties, and realize themselves as a person.

Of course, it is too early to draw conclusions about the effective socialization of students in connection with the conduct of extracurricular activities, since only two and a half years have passed since the introduction of extracurricular activities in our school, but now there are practical results that indicate that extracurricular activity has a great socializing potential.

Proof of this is the creative work of students, where they express their opinion about various events and phenomena, the actions of heroes. In their works, students also express many practical proposals for improving the environmental situation in the city, offer options for their own participation in solving problems.

Such conclusions can also be drawn from the results of participant observation, which indicate serious changes that have occurred in the behavior, and, accordingly, in the minds of students. Many specific situations serve as evidence of personal growth, the socialization of students: this is joint work in groups in classroom and extracurricular activities, communication at breaks with classmates studying in other classes, with teachers, parents; this behavior while visiting theaters, museums, libraries and other public places; this and the proposal of students to help veterans of the Great Patriotic War and children from the orphanage; this is also the initiative of students in organizing the collection of waste paper, the action "Packages, give up!"; this includes hanging birdhouses, feeders and environmental posters in summer cottages, in the courtyards of houses, calling on neighbors to protect nature.

Thus, the well-established system of work on the implementation of the main educational program through extracurricular activities within the framework of one educational organization clearly proves how great its socializing potential is.
