Robot Chicken is a parody animated television series created by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich.

The mad professor assembled a cyborg chicken: he replaced one wing with a steel one, soldered a mechanical leg and inserted a laser eye. He sat the unfortunate creature in front of the TV. Sketches about everything in the world flicker on the screen - from Star Wars and superhero comics to parodies of Donald Trump and Michael Jackson.

The show, full of satire and black humor, was developed by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich. The animated series is made in a rare puppet animation format. Robot Chicken has been on taps since February 20, 2005.

A collection of sketches made in a rare genre of puppet animation won two Emmy awards not by chance. A caustic parody of popular culture, whether it be cinema, computer games, comics, celebrities, commercials, etc., stirred up the public.   • The chicken sitting in front of the screen is a reference to Anthony Burgess' book A Clockwork Orange and its adaptation by Stanley Kubrick. There, the hero was also subjected to watching a video sequence in order to create a pain reflex to aggression in him.
  • Over 60 titles were proposed and rejected for the series, including "Trash in the Trunk", "ADD TV", "Gold Dust Gasoline" and others. Some of them later became the titles of the series.
  • The name Robot Chicken was borrowed from a local Chinese restaurant.
  • Most dolls are made of plastic, sometimes with foam bodies. Some, such as the lemmings in the Animal Kingdom Presents sketch, are made of clay.
