Q. Can my personality type change over time?

A. If you asked Isabel Briggs Myers and Katherine Briggs (the creators of the 16 personality types) or Carl Jung (the psychologist whose theories Briggs and Myers studied), they would say no, a person's personality type does not change over time. However, personality psychologists who study large populations have found that shifts in personality do occur over time. Research shows that age and individual life experiences can cause a shift in your personality. However, drastic shifts in personality are unusual, and most people find that changes are small and gradual.

  • Results are most often given in person or by phone through an interactive feedback discussion with a certified practitioner. An interactive feedback discussion with a certified MBTI practitioner allows for personal interpretation that enhances the understanding of MBTI results.
  • When taking the MBTI® Online, the integrated self-guided feedback system is designed to help you understand and verify the accuracy of your results. A follow-up conversation with a professional is suggested but not essential.
  • Scored results come in the form of an MBTI® Profile Report that is either delivered via the web or given to you in printed form. This report is confidential and is treated accordingly by the professionals who deliver the report to you.

If you have taken the MBTI in the past and can't find your report, you will have to contact the person who gave it to you to obtain your results. The MBTI is a psychological instrument and the report is confidential. The Myers & Briggs Foundation does not have those records.

Until now, many Western companies require applicants for vacancies to pass this test in order to understand if the position suits them.

You only have to answer 4 questions and get your combination of letters, and edition "So easy!" will tell you the result.

Choose one answer from the presented

E : call my friends, see what their plans are. We all need to get out together to watch a movie, or play bowling, or have lunch at a new restaurant. nine0005

I : I will stay at home and turn off the phone. I'll lie down in the bathroom, watch a series, sleep.

N : I love daydreaming and scheduling future events. I take everything philosophically. And intuition is my main adviser, not some kind of analytics. nine0005

T : I will study all available information about the competitor company, consult with my friends, write down all the advantages and disadvantages of the new vacancy. I will take this matter very seriously. nine0005

F : going to a new job or not, will depend on the inner feeling. Now, if on the day of the decision I wake up and decide to leave, then I will leave.

  4. You are a witness at the wedding of your very close friends and help them in some organizational matters. There are 2 weeks left before the event. How are the preparations going?

J : I've already hired an orchestra, come up with tests for the groom, and prepared a video presentation of the best events in the couple's life. I signed up for a hairdresser and chose an outfit. nine0005

The 5 types of MBTIs that are most capable of building strong relationships. Dropi

/ Author: Ksenia Kurtukova

MBTI or, in other words, the Myers-Briggs personality typology is based on Jung's typology, and, despite the fact that not all of its provisions are scientifically proven and are skeptically perceived by the psychological community, it is very common. Especially often it is used in business and to determine career guidance. However, MBTI can also be used in private, for example, if you want to find your soulmate and build a strong relationship. The following 5 types are especially successful in this, and therefore it is worth considering them when choosing a partner. nine0005

Stories #psychology #mbti #myers-briggs

1. ESFJ (Consul)

This personality type, which in Russian socionics corresponds to "Hugo", is considered a real social butterfly. Friendly, pleasant and energetic "Consuls" are easy to start relationships with other people. They are not afraid of obligations, you can always rely on them. Of all the MBTI types, this one shows the highest relationship satisfaction. nine0005

Another advantage of Consul is that he always strives to understand what he can give to his loved one, he is ready to satisfy all the needs of a partner. They also find it easier than most to deal with stress. And this means that representatives of this type will be able to resolve conflicts that are inevitable in any relationship.

"Consuls" always and in everything give 100%, so be sure: if you connect your life with the consul, he will shower you with compliments and gifts. True, and you'll have to match ;)

2. ENTP (Polemist)

"Polemist" in domestic socionics corresponds to the type of "Don Quixote". ENTPs are focused on self-improvement and helping a partner grow. Since mutual growth is the key to a good relationship, this type is great for marriage.

There is always something to talk about with the Controversial (which is not surprising, given the name of its type). He reads the mood and emotions of a partner well, so it is easy for him to understand his loved ones. This skill is especially useful when it comes to disagreements. ENTPs strive for mutual understanding and progress, thanks to which they skillfully know how to get out of conflict. nine0005

3. ENFJ (Coach)

ENFJ in Russian typology corresponds to Hamlet. For Coaches, relationships are a top priority in life, so they are willing to put in whatever effort is necessary to make them work. ENFJs constantly make sure that the partner is heard, loved and appreciated. They not only instantly understand that a loved one is upset, but they are ready to do anything to change the situation.

"Trainers" in terms of the way of processing information are ethical-intuitive, which means that they are not only idealists, but also very caring. If the ENFJ does not adopt a strategy of conflict avoidance, then relationships with a compatible personality type will only flourish, especially since the "Coaches" manage to bring out the best in the people with whom they are close. Representatives of this type are loyal, caring and compassionate. They are able to find true happiness in a long-term stable relationship. nine0005

4. ESFP (Entertainer)

In the domestic typology, ESFP corresponds to "Napoleon". For The Entertainers and those who date them, relationships are never-ending fun. They are passionate, optimistic, and also have great emotional power. They may seem sociable and sensual, but they turn out to be very determined and down to earth.

ESFPs rank second among all types in terms of marital satisfaction. Bonus: The Entertainers know how to handle problems and disagreements in an extremely efficient and, most importantly, healthy way. nine0005

5. INFJ (Activist)

INFJ corresponds to "Dostoevsky" in Russian typology. "Activist" has his head in the clouds, he is a caring and versatile person. Representatives of this type will not connect their lives with anyone, but will wait for that one or that one. They are not just looking for someone with whom they see themselves in the future - this person must share their values. INFJs prefer relationships to develop gradually.
