Actually, the idea of ​​assimilating information in a dream is far from new. For example, sleep learning programs have previously been developed. However, Andrei Sokol is skeptical about this: “Although the brain is able to perceive external information during sleep, it does so, of course, within very limited limits. That is why Hypnopedia cannot be a substitute for classical education - learning a foreign language or mastering a new complex skill in a dream, alas, is unrealistic. Only individual words and phrases can be downloaded into the subconscious. However, this may be quite enough for fine-tuning the subconscious!

In addition to affirmations, Hypnopedia includes a smart alarm clock that gently wakes you up in the morning at the optimal time for your body, a set of relaxing sounds for falling asleep, and ASMR recordings.

The last category, perhaps, should be said in more detail. The abbreviation ASMR (ASMR) stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. This is understood as the reaction of the body to visual, sound and tactile stimuli. Subjective experiences that arise under the influence of such stimuli manifest themselves differently in all people. Another study conducted in 2018 by a group of American scientists confirmed that the effect of ASMR reduces heart rate and increases skin conductivity. The authors believe that this can be used in various types of therapy.
