I hate my life - what to do if you really hate your life

" I hate my life" is an infamous internal expression that people of all ages struggle with. But where do these thoughts come from? These thoughts come from negative early childhood experiences. and the attitude towards us confirm how we see ourselves later

expression " you are your own worst enemy" often contains great truth. It is a painful reality that what limits us so much in our lives is our feelings of worthlessness and self-hatred. But where do these feelings come from? How do they affect us? What can we do to live a life free from the harsh attitude of our inner critic?

First, let's summarize what negative emotions most often affect us in life:

  • I hate my life, be sad all day and want nothing
  • I always hate to think badly of people and I don't trust anyone
  • I hate it when someone doesn't text me, says they can't stay, or takes longer to reply to a message, or replies to me soon: thinking it's because of an unfavorable feeling towards me.
  • I hate my life because it is empty
  • I hate my life because I have no friends
  • I hate my life because everyone underestimates me
  • I hate being taught and telling myself what to do
  • I hate it when I don't know how to react to people
  • I hate my life for not having the money to become independent
  • I also hate the lack of courage to earn money
  • I hate my life when I look at myself in the mirror and I don't like what I see
  • I hate my life when I see others have the life I want
  • I hate my life for not knowing how to organize myself financially or in my business
    . ..

We could go on and on with the one thing a person can hate in their life when they are just not happy with it. But let's try to find ways to love our life a little, and then, realizing its value, try to enjoy it.

You must have wondered at different stages of your life why something should happen to you.

Did you do something wrong, or maybe you got bad karma from past lives? Or maybe you haven't learned how to deal with life's situations, be wiser in relationships, business, or life in general.

You feel that everyone is happy except you, and everyone has such a quiet life that failures in life do not happen often. This is one of the biggest mistakes.

Do not compare your life so much with a seemingly perfect example, do not think that everything is as it seems!

After all, if that's the case, your life is yours and all you need to worry about is it. Your soul is unique and cannot be compared with any other.

Life is unique and precious, don't waste time despairing, feeling sorry for yourself or blaming yourself or anyone else that your life is not what you wanted it to be.

Try to do what few people can do in stressful life situations - try to make the most of what you have at the moment!

This does not mean that you have to give up, leave and be content with what you have, put up with the offer and give up. It simply means that you must learn to enjoy what you have now and fight for what you want at the same time.

We often see this life as cruel, serious, tense. We allow our worries and problems to completely eclipse the sun that should shine every day of our lives. And this is wrong. It only matters if we know how to enjoy life.

What we can and want to learn, discover, know, love... People, situations, circumstances, objects, properties cross our lives, trying to teach us to know ourselves better. With them, the only path leads to the center of our souls.

Since nothing in this world lasts forever and we do not own anything forever, we must follow this:

  1. Do not look at life with discouragement!
  2. Plan your weather well.
  3. Do not include only obligations in your plans, but also entertainment!
  4. Spend more time with people who inspire you with positive energy.
  5. Never stop doing what you love most in your life, at any cost.
  6. Never give up on your dreams!
  7. Find out that there is not much time for mourning, and grief is nothing but hiding and fearing a new beginning!
  8. Instead of listening to the opinions of others, listen to your heart.
  9. Strength is in your patience and understanding.
  10. Learn to love endings because they are just fantastic beginnings.

Problems are just lessons and milestones. After all… Isn't that the only reason? Learn to love your life the way it is?

I hate my life. I hate myself even more

Requests for helpWrite your story

I hate my life. I hate myself even more. I think about it and about death all the time. I do not understand why this is happening, because if you look from the outside, it seems that everything is fine. I live alone, I have friends, a car, guys take care of me, i.e. everything is as it should be. But I sit at home almost all the time, I don’t go out anywhere, I even stopped going to college. I started thinking about death from the age of 13, but before I somehow forced myself to do something, go somewhere, strive for something, but now I have no strength at all. I wake up every morning and feel like 90 year old grandmother. And always the thought in my head that if something goes wrong, then there is always a way to die. I can't live with it anymore and don't know what to do.

Vasilisa, age: 20 / 03/06/2013

Responses:

This is an alarm bell, not even a bell, but
ringing all the bells! The fact is that this is NOT
YOUR thoughts, but sent by demons. And these
thoughts, apparently, are successfully disguised as
Your own. The purpose of the demons is to bring you to
suicide, and if it goes on like this, nothing
not to undertake, they will probably achieve
its purpose. BUT! Forewarned is forearmed!
If you are not baptized, get baptized immediately. If
baptized - be sure to confess and
take communion. This should not be done
slow, expensive every day. But salvation is
only possible under one condition. Sincerely
believe in the Lord and entrust your destiny to Him.
If you are skeptical about this - nothing
will not help, because it does not save the formal
rite, but spiritual acceptance of Christ as one's own
Savior. You should not be driven by fear of demons and
an attempt to get rid of them, but the fear of God, fear
stay without God in the soul, because darkness is
lack of light. Talk to the priest,
describe the situation, he knows what to do.
I sincerely hope for your prudence and yes
the Lord God will help you.

Michael, age: 35 / 03/06/2013

Vasilisochka, dear girl! You are so happy
actually - you have youth,
health, parents. You just don't know what
you to do with all this wealth, probably
this is the problem. You write how you feel
like a 90 year old grandmother. I have a friend 90-
summer grandmother, in the summer she buried
only son, bedridden and she
WANT TO LIVE!!!! Vasilisa if you don't know what
to do with your life - give others at least
part of it. Become a volunteer, take care of
sick people, do good deeds or help
orphans. That's when you will see the meaning of
life and understand that you are needed here and came to
this world is not in vain. And more - find a good
psychotherapist to rule out medical
side of your depression. I kiss you and believe that
you will succeed!

Sunny , age: 32 / 03/06/2013

Vasilisa, probably every person in his life comes to the limit when there is nowhere to strive further and there is no reason. After all, life means living. But let's understand what it is to live. It's not just about consuming. It is not only to rejoice in possessions and think about earthly-material things. It is to live for the Supreme. And how important it is to find yourself! If we do not feel our soul, we have nothing to love ourselves for. After all, everything nasty in us is superficial. And if there is more superficial in us than sincere, then we become disgusting to ourselves. And this happens when we do not feel our soul. At the same time, depression is visited - the cry of the soul. Loneliness, in which comfort is nothing. Some internal prerequisites for unwillingness to live. All this proves that there is a soul. Although official science agrees in everything with the Truths of Orthodoxy. God revealed to us everything that is needed for salvation, and we need to go to a meeting. All the local, worldly life is only a road to something better. We are not quite here we are, and this life is not quite life. We will not see eternity until we find ourselves in it, but we can get all the information about eternity and even the feeling of eternity in the Orthodox Church.
Don't go to college because the emptiness of what's happening has already begun to open up to you in everything... Of course, it's impossible to live like this anymore. Vasilisa, contact the Church. In Orthodoxy you will find answers to all questions, heal your soul. You will simply feel Real Life yourself, because you will find it. And in this way you will know the real you, which it will be impossible not to love. This is not morbid pride, but simply a sense of inner dignity, the highest significance. It is better to experience it for yourself than to read it many times. In the foregoing, your deliverance from all the unpleasant symptoms of modernity. After all, you did not talk about all the problems - others are just ripening. And in Orthodoxy all problems are solved - this is a happy path. Thank God that now the Church is not banned. You can freely visit her and take a closer look. In the future, accept the Sacraments and read spiritual literature. All this will enrich your soul, will reveal real life.
By the way, grannies in the Church do not feel like grannies. They feel young.

Taya, age: 03/22/2013

The most reasonable thing is to turn to specialists: a psychologist, a psychotherapist ... But first, a therapist, an endocrinologist, a neuropathologist: before you start thinking about false and dangerous things, you need to look for the simplest possible causes of your condition.

Agnia Lvovna, age: 72 / 03/06/2013

Dear Vasilisa! To the question "why?" you should not look for an answer, for us
it's a mystery, it just happened, that's all. Much more important is the question "what do you need
do?". - Fix!!!
Suppose a child started smoking at the age of 13. What's the use of reasoning
"Why?" yes "why?". Yes, some people like to dig into it, climb in
in the wilds, but what does it give ?! Only fatigue and a sense of helplessness.
Where is the exit? In the child himself. Both entrance and exit. Once he's
will understand (with his heart, not in words!!!) that smoking is harmful for him personally,
then quit.
My relative smoked from the age of 15 to forty ... I want and I will! And though
what do you do! Explained, showed changes in the lungs of a smoker,
scolded, beaten even once, announced a boycott, deprived of help, money -
useless. At forty, she herself threw: "I do not want a wrecked
I want to become, I still want to live. "It finally came!!!
And someone in the hospital with lung cancer continues to smoke ... did not get it ...
I saw those too. They are treated and smoke in the corridor secretly. Nothing to say.
The same is true with thoughts about death. Who cares why they are
suddenly came. What will self-digging and climbing into the jungle give
psychology, philosophy in search of an answer? Only fatigue, feeling
helplessness and loss of a huge amount of time. Main,
understand a simple thing. Thoughts about death are very harmful, they are needed
stop by all means! They're poisonous, addictive0046 even dependence over time (if you don’t want to think, it doesn’t work anymore
- as with drugs, smoking, alcohol). They destroy
a person slowly, imperceptibly. Destroy first joy, then
mood, then faith in a good future, in their own strength, suppress
will, take away physical strength, health and (God forbid!!!) herself
life. That's when you understand all this (with your heart, not in words!), Then
you can win. Someone himself rejects the harmful, someone with a doctor,
someone comes to the temple. There is a remedy if there is an understanding: I am
I need to stop chasing this infection in my head!!! It's deadly
dangerous for me. Poisons life.
Good luck and be patient!

Elena Ordinary, age: 37 / 03/06/2013

It looks like what I used to think.
This is a difficult period, but this will pass, and the taste for life will someday return.
There is an interesting book on this topic - "Veronica decides to die", I advise.

Sun, age: 20/03/06/2013

You're right, the way we look from the outside, and then,
what do we really feel - two big
difference. You usually wear
in front of other people mask, and often they do not even realize that with
happens to us.

Do you know when the body prepares for sexual intercourse
ripening, the first signs appear
mental instability. Many have
pass with a transitional age, while others
full-blown depression may develop. If
you already understand that apathy, sitting
at home, prostration, lack of desire, low
social activity is your reality, then
alas, this may be a sign of depression
Hold on, Sunshine! I think you are big
well done for deciding to write here, and that you are
trying to deal with your condition.
God bless you!

Lada, age: 38 / 03/06/2013

What do you think is easy for others? But they don’t want to commit suicide. And besides, everything is not so bad with you (you guys have a car). After all, not everyone has it. It’s even worse for someone. Stop whining and start living right now. After all, when there is no longer an opportunity, people want to live and you are not 90 years old. So you can do everything!!! Good luck!!

Anna , age: 25 / 03/07/2013

know you're not the only one, I'll say this...- this is the best way to test us for strength. and we are strong, oh fuck, how strong, only by our presence in this world is enough ..) so everything goes up as it goes, plans collapse sometimes .... but it doesn’t matter more walk
just fuck everything and everything!!!

Den, age: 09/29/2013

Hello namesake!
But it’s the other way around for me. I can’t hate myself, although I often think that I’m doing it wrong. I don’t have a boyfriend, I almost don’t communicate with friends.0046 I thought that someday I would die and I felt so happy that I smiled. Do not call death, but just wait.
How can one learn to hate oneself? After all,

He who loves his soul will destroy it; but he who hates his soul in this world will keep it to eternal life.
