26 English Swear Words That You Thought Were Harmless
American Swear Words (US)
The following are commonly used curse words in American English that are understood and used globally. It's likely where you should start, to get the most bang for your limited time.
1. F*ck
The word f-u-c-k is one of the most widely recognized swear words in the English language. The literal f-word is a shortened version of: 'FornicationUnder the Consent of the King. ' Like most swear words, it did originate from a sexual reference, which is still how it's used today.
2. F*ck you
Adding the word 'you' means you're directing the offense onto someone else. It's often used as a joke or when you're angry at someone else.
3. Shit
Another meaning for shit is poo (#2), but it's often used internally when something unexpected comes up in your life. An example is if you forgot that you have a project that's due this week, you'll say 'Shit! I totally forgot about that.'
4. Piss off
If you want someone to step away from your personal space, you can simply tell them to piss off.
5. Dick head
You can visually imagine this swear word without too much effort I'm sure. It's a commonly used name-call that is used to describe someone who's being unfair or unjust, but it can also be with friends as a joke.
6. Asshole
This is one of those curse words that literally describes a part of our body (in the buttocks), but is also used as a swear word.
7. Son of a b*tch
A versatile word that can be used internally like the word 'damn' or 'shit' but can also be used to describe someone who tossed one over you.
8. Bastard
The literal translation for a bastard is an illegitimate child or mongrel. It's used as a noun to describe someone who gave you an unpleasant experience. For example, if someone runs into you on the subway and you end up falling, calling them a bastard may be appropriate.
9. Bitch
A common word that's not only used globally but from both males and females. According to this study, the word 'bitch' was used in 4.5 million interactions on Facebook, making it the top 5 most common swear word in the English language online.
10. Damn
This is not the harshest swear word used in America and one that's said to yourself, not to harm someone else.According to this survey, it's most commonly used in the lower east side of the United States.
11.
C*ntWhile this word is used in Britain and elsewhere, it's much harsher in the United States. Be careful using this, especially around women, as you may be about to enter a physical interaction quickly after.
British Swear Words (UK)
The British have one of the most original swear words. Given that it's where the English language originated from, it makes sense that they're so unique! The following British English swear words are most commonly used in the UK but are slowly being recognized around the globe.
12. BollocksBollocks is another word for 'shit', and it's used exactly the same way. The difference is the literal translation of the words. While 'shit' means poo, 'bollocks' is used to describe your testicles.
13. BuggerOne of the most common words used by the British, bugger means to sodomize someone. The way you use it is to exclaim an unpleasant situation or annoyance.
14. Bloody HellOut of all British swear words, this is probably the one that's quickly being used by Americans. The word 'bloody' is also the foundational word that can be attached to other words to form a swear word, such as 'bloody moron' or to exclaim another word, like 'bloody brilliant!'
15. ChoadChoad is just another word for penis and can be used similarly to the way the word 'dick' is used in America.
16. CrikeySome may argue that this isn't a swear word, but it's an important English word to recognized nevertheless. Crikey is often used to show astonishment and surprise, similar to the way the word 'Christ!' is used.
17. RubbishRubbish is what the British refers to as 'trash.' So when you tell someone their work is 'rubbish' it means that it's trash.
18. ShagTo 'shag' means to have sex. Not incredibly offensive when you used it around your friends, but just a less direct way to describe fornication.
19. WankerThe word 'wank' means to masturbate, which means adding 'er' means you're calling someone a masturbater.
20. Taking the pissIf someone from your team is being unproductive or just downrightsilly, you can say 'are you taking the piss?'
21. TwatTwat is translated to 'p*ssy' so you can imagine how this word can be colorfully used in many different situations.
Australian Swear Words (AU)
22. Bloody Oath
Code for: 'F*ck Yeah!' Often used to show your immense support for something.
23. Root
What 'shag' is to the British, the word 'root' is for Australians. Used very similarly.
24. Get Stuffed
An easy substitute to tell someone to 'bugger off' or 'piss off.'
25.
Bugger meThis one may be a bit confusing since the word 'me' is used here. But it also means to 'get lost.' The more appropriate term would be 'bugger off'
26. Fair suck of the sav
We had to end off our list of English curse words with this idiosyncratic one. The word "sav" is short for saveloy, or a red, seasoned sausage, and it's used when you want to say 'give me a fair chance or shot.'

The influence of swearing on health, consciousness, human life
Life is now such that swearing is heard almost everywhere, even in places with which it is incompatible - in educational institutions, in the family circle, in public places. And after another collision with this alien destructive energy, a desire arose to systematize the thoughts that arise on this occasion. Let's start with the definition of swearing given in Wikipedia: "Swearing (swearing, swearing, swearing, matyuki, (obsolete) barking swearing) is the most rude, obscene kind of profanity in Russian and in languages \u200b\u200bclose to it."
In ancient Russian manuscripts, mating is regarded as a feature of demonic behavior. By uttering obscene words, a person, even if he does it involuntarily, invokes dark forces and participates in a savage cult. Swearing performed among the Slavs in the function of a curse. For example, one of the swear words with the letter "e", which is of Slavic origin, is translated as "curse". The person who pronounces it thereby curses himself and those around him. A person who utters swear words automatically calls all the dirtiest and sickest things on himself, his children and his entire family. At the same time, the swearer often expresses surprise and regret about serious problems with the organs, primarily the genitourinary system, cancer and other diseases, while continuing to use foul language.
Here it is appropriate to recall a well-known fairy tale related to European folklore. The girl, who spoke kindly and cordially, had roses falling from her lips. And the girl, who spoke dirty and rudely, had toads jumping out of her mouth and snakes crawling out ... What an accurate artistic image.
What is a "swear" word, what is "mat"? There is an opinion that the origin of this or that curse, its etymological component is not of great importance. These words are traditionally considered "the worst". And when a person decides to use them for some reason, it is obvious that either extreme malice, or fierce contempt for someone, or complete lack of self-control makes him do so. The mystical component of foul language is the mysticism of malice boiling in the human heart, malice that connects a person with the destructive forces of the Universe, makes him a slave, while love connects with the Creator.
Doctor of Biological Sciences, Academician of Medical and Technical Sciences P. Garyaev experimentally established that protein chromosomes contain all the information necessary for the formation of a living organism. In the course of numerous experiments, he proved that the genetic apparatus of any living being reacts in the same way to external influences, causing changes in the genes. How does this happen? It is known that a person consists of more than 75% of water. Words spoken by a person change the structure of water, building its molecules into complex chains, changing their properties, and, consequently, changing the genetic code of heredity. With the regular negative impact of words, genes are modified, which affect not only the person himself, but also his offspring. Modification of genes accelerates the aging of the body, contributes to the development of various diseases and thus reduces the life span. And vice versa, under the influence of positive words and thoughts, the human genetic code improves, the aging of the body is delayed and life span is increased.
Another scientist, Doctor of Biological Sciences I.I. Belyavsky for many years dealt with the problem of the relationship between the word and human consciousness. With mathematical precision, he proved that not only a person is characterized by a certain spectrum of energy, but each of his words carries an energy charge. And the word affects the genes, either prolonging youth and health, or bringing diseases and early old age closer, significantly worsening the overall quality of life.
Thus, it has been proved once again that a huge destructive force is hidden in foul language. And if a person could see what a powerful negative charge, like a shock wave of an exploding bomb, spreads in all directions from a swearing speech, he would never utter it. Another interesting observation is connected with swear words. In those countries whose national languages do not contain swear words indicating the reproductive organs, Down's disease and cerebral palsy have not been found, while in Russia, for example, these diseases are not uncommon. If a person, when ejecting negative energy, remembers the genitals, then this has a negative effect on them. This phenomenon is studied by psychosomatics (other Greek soul and body) - a direction in medicine and psychology that studies the influence of psychological factors on the occurrence and course of somatic (bodily) diseases. Therefore, swearers become impotent early or acquire urological diseases. The difficulty is also in the fact that it is not necessary to scold yourself, it is enough to accidentally hear swearing, because of which people who live surrounded by foul language suffer from diseases. Of course, it is possible and necessary to develop the ability to withstand negative impacts from outside. But even if such an ability is formed, how much effort is spent on constantly neutralizing the "linguistic bombardment" ... Swearing is used to express outright evil, manifested as anger and defilement. They fulfill their purpose, destroying the mind, the health of both those who produce swearing and those who heard it, even just bystanders.
Historical note. Among the ancient Slavs, mate was equated with a curse. Its similar use is recorded in Slavic writing. In the Bulgarian chronicle, the word "mutilated" did not mean "cursed", but simply "cursed". In Rus', until the middle of the 19th century, not only was swearing not widespread even in villages, but for a long time it was a criminal offense. For obscene language in a public place, even according to the Criminal Code of the USSR, 15 days of arrest were supposed. In modern Russia, foul language in public places entails administrative liability - a fine or administrative arrest for up to 15 days, this is provided for by Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code "Petty Hooliganism".
However, bans do not solve serious internal problems. Most people recognize that non-literary expressions humiliate a person, but the same majority nevertheless uses these expressions. It is hard to imagine a hostess pouring a bucket of slop in the middle of the room, but foul language is the same slop. Children are punished for bad words, but no one punishes adults, and the child, hearing a bad word, smirks in order to repeat it later. Thus the circle closes.
When you meet a person who uses a mat, you involuntarily think: is everything in order with his head? Because only a sick, sexually preoccupied person can mention the genitals and sexual intercourse so often in colloquial speech.
You can often hear that there is nothing wrong with swearing, a person simply sheds negative energy, and language cannot do without swearing. However, there is another opinion. Language not only reflects the system of values of a person and society (obscene vocabulary, for example, indicates an obvious vulgarization of such values), but also powerfully influences this system, subordinates it to itself, determines the very worldview of a person, his behavior. As a result, the character of the people as a whole, the public consciousness, and the course of historical events are changing.
Swearing is based primarily (although not exclusively) on the vile and insulting use of the word "mother". One of the highest concepts for a person is reduced to the level of cynically vulgar. Here it is appropriate to quote the words of A.P. Chekhov: "How much wit, anger and spiritual impurity was spent to come up with these nasty words and phrases aimed at insulting and defiling a person in everything that is sacred, dear and dear to him."
Inferiority is always aggressive, and this aggressiveness manifests itself primarily at the level of language. Checkmate is a "format" of losers, weak, unbalanced people who are not able to find their place in life. Mat clogs the language, destroys its beauty and harmony, leads to the degradation of the personality.
Cursing makes communication difficult. A swearing person is not able to convey his thought to the interlocutor in full and fills with foul language the voids caused by his own stupidity. Mat - a demonstration of disrespect not only to the interlocutor, but also to the world as a whole, it undermines trust between people, exposes the one who swears in the most unfavorable light. Yes, there are social strata where the one who does not swear appears to be an inferior member of the corresponding group. But now we are talking about swearing not from the standpoint of marginal circles, but from the standpoint of normal people.
In medical practice, there are cases when people with certain types of paralysis cannot say a single normal word, but without hesitation utter whole expressions consisting exclusively of obscenities. This amazing phenomenon indicates that swearing is formed along completely different nerve chains, not like ordinary human speech, which is suggestive ... Scientists, studying the phenomenon of swearing, came to the conclusion that the general health of a person suffers from its use and decreases overall quality of life. They empirically proved that a spoken or heard swear word carries an energy charge that negatively affects a person. For several years, researchers have been monitoring two groups of people. One included those who had only obscenities in their speech, and the second group of the observed did not use rude words at all. The results speak for themselves: in people who used the mat, chronic diseases worsened; the members of the other group had a significantly better body condition, and their biological age turned out to be several years younger than their passport age.
Matt affects primarily male potency and women's health. A man, using obscene language, provokes the formation of infertility. It is male infertility that currently causes particular concern among specialists. The male factor accounts for approximately 40% of the causes of infertile marriages; in recent decades, a progressive decrease in the number of spermatozoa in the ejaculate, inexplicable from generally accepted medical positions, has been observed. Approximately 6-8% of men are infertile. About 40% are female infertility and 20% are mixed. The body of a regularly cursing woman switches to functioning, in many respects similar to the functioning of the male type. A child who constantly hears foul language leaves a sense of shame, and this is a bridge to future degradation. Swearing has a noticeable effect on intelligence. Children significantly lag behind in mental development, this fact has been scientifically proven.
"The affectionate word is the master of wondrous divs. The word is the commander of human strength." And sometimes silence sounds so beautiful - calm, conscious, benevolent.

What is Russian swearing and why is it needed
During quarrels or debates
There is a wonderful tool.
From ignoramuses to aristocrats,
Mat - that's an argument.
The offender does not need to be beaten
Or make a big speech.
It's easier just to insult him,
To stop him with a sharp word.
And the idea cannot be conveyed
Without using the word “f*ck”.
Our language is rich in words,
And reinforces its mat.
Russian mat is a set of swear words or expressions, the use of which is considered bad form in society. There are several main reasons why people swear:
- For verbal infringement of a third person or interlocutor.
- To draw the listener's attention to a particular thought.
- For psychological self-relief in a difficult situation.
No matter how sad it may be, the truth is that swear words are an essential part of any language, without which it is extremely difficult to express one's thoughts in certain situations.
Many musicians or actors also use swear words, replacing them with ordinary words in speech in order to look more outrageous in the eyes of their audience, which uses obscene language in everyday communication. Thus, showmen pay tribute to modern slang.
Sharp words and phrases can be used, even in targeted advertising settings, to increase the importance of the product or service being sold in the context of the offer, if this does not contradict the rules of the site on which the advertisement is made.
Why are you swearing? We will be glad to read your answer in the comments. We looked at the main reasons for using swear words. Let's now discuss the history of the origin of our good Russian mat.
Russian swearing
Who invented swear words
Speaking about the roots of Russian swearing, it cannot be attributed to our origins. Swear words are used in almost every country in the world. However, it is Russia that is one of the most striking examples, where there are taboo words that are included in the everyday verbal use of most people.
Where did swearing come from in Russian? One of the most advanced explanations is that we borrowed some curse words from the Tatar-Mongolians. However, according to many historical reports, this version is not true.
Firstly, during the Mongol raids on Rus', obscene statements were not popular among nomadic peoples. According to some records on the birch bark letters of our ancestors, one can understand that obscene curses appeared long before the Tatar-Mongol invasion.
And yet, where do the roots of the origin of swear words in Russia grow from? Most likely, the Russian mat appeared in the pagan religion. Apparently, swear words were not originally used for insults. With their help, they tried to talk to cattle or even the weather. For example, the Serbs threw an ax over their heads and shouted obscene words while it was flying. In a similar way, they tried to appease their gods and thus make it rain.
Representatives of that time believed that with the help of obscene curses, damage can be averted. Let's say the parents could give the child a name: Dashing Ghoul, Rotten Worm, or even worse. The assignment of such names did not mean that mom and dad did not love their descendant. On the contrary, by doing so they believed that they would avert trouble. It was believed that a person with that name would not be threatened by evil spirits.
In addition, similar customs could be observed among the inhabitants of ancient Rome. Before the battle, the soldiers cursed each other, believing that swearing would bring good luck. This belief is still found to this day - you probably heard how your work colleague asked to scold him before a possible promotion, or a classmate at the university wanted to be “cursed” before defending his diploma. In addition, the mat was used on the battlefield, hence the swear words. When the forces of the troops were running out, swear words were needed for spiritual uplift.
At the beginning of the 18th century, swearing appeared in Rus', which was exclusively negative. That is, the terms that we today perceive as curses were not considered as such. Words that turned into abuse or insults meant human genitals or characterized a person with actual visual defects, that is, they were ordinary words.
To swear meant to swear “after the mother”. It was believed that a person who does not watch his language is ill-bred and characterizes his parents as people who did not bring him up accordingly, and the child learned to swear on the example of the parents' family model. Why among mom and dad it was a woman who was chosen as a priority, history is silent. One can only assume that in the era of palace coups it was believed that a man was engaged in the financial provision of his family, and a woman was in charge of housekeeping and raising children. Accordingly, the moral responsibility for the bad behavior of the descendants fell on her.
The original purpose of swearing insults was to make the opponent feel ashamed. The subject, using swear words against the interlocutor, threw him a social challenge. In other words, he expressed publicly everything that was not customary to disclose in society.
Of course, today swear words are used for various purposes, for example, even in advertising slogans, in sales funnels designed for a specific audience. If you are not familiar with this term, we recommend that you read the article about what is a sales funnel.
Brief interpretation of Russian swearing and its history
Speaking of swearing in Russian, it is considered that it has three bases:
- female genital organs;
- male reproductive organs;
- intercourse of the above parts of the bodies.
Everything else is not a foul language directly, but is considered simply obscene language. This is precisely the distinguishing feature of Russian warfare - it is multi-layered. In other words, there is a category, unconditionally, of taboo terms and expressions. And there is - the usual obscene abuse. At the same time, the rules for the perception of dirty words in some countries are different from ours. For example, in English or German, all swear words are equal, from the standpoint of social norms. All of them are prohibited by law.
In the 18th century, when swear words began to be perceived as something obscene, their use was banned in the print media. Hence the term "obscene language" appeared - words that are not included in the list of censorship. In the 19th century, the use of taboo swear words was popular in correspondence between creative people.
But in most countries, at the beginning of the 20th century, swear words were regarded as something unacceptable, but desirable. One particular impetus for change, in terms of the perception of swearing, was the play "Pygmalion" by Bernard Shaw (first shown in London at 1938). Prior to the premiere, the audience was informed that during the play the actress would voice an obscene word. The news of this nature intrigued the public. As a result, the actress said the word: “bloody likely”, the literal translation into Russian is “damn” or “f*cking”. The hall instantly accompanied this expression with ovations and whistles. Then began a gradual change in the perception of obscene expressions, from unacceptable to normal, according to the principles of the Overton Window theory. But, despite this, the mat for a long time was something sacred for society and was used in exceptional cases.
Today, people's disposition towards swearing has changed dramatically. Increasingly, foul language is used as a PR tool. The use of obscene terms in everyday speech has become fashionable and has become something commonplace. We discussed the history of the origin and further development of the words of the Russian mat. Let's now analyze the meaning of swear words and try to interpret them.
Where did Russian swearing come from
Explanatory dictionary of Russian swear words: all swear words from a + to z
Today it has become fashionable in society to use swear words in order to insult an opponent or convey one's message. Therefore, in order to understand and correctly use swear terms, we have compiled a dictionary of the main swear words and expressions of the Russian language with their translation. It is important to note that some of them have many meanings, but we have described the main variations that apply during a conversation.
BL*D
Interpreted as a girl of easy virtue, in plain f*cking language. P * tana is a synonym for the word harlot, hence this curse appeared. Sometimes used in a sentence as an interjection, in order to convey the idea more expressively to the listener. Example: "I'm so fucking tired after a workout!". In a criminal dialect, it is translated as a former thief in law who lost his status due to a significant violation of the rules of the thieves' world, for example, informing the authorities about the activities of his colleagues.
Б*Я is one of the most frequently used swear words in Russian, so much so that it starts to cut the ear of most people around. Abbreviation for the word: "bl * d". Most often it is a union. However, this word has become so “palled” in conversations that it does not carry any power of significance to the sentence. Example: "Hey fuck, how are you?" As a rule, in society, the attitude towards this word is negative. Because if "fuck" carries some significance, then "f*ck", just its meaningless abbreviation, also the sound of this term, is similar to the bleating of a ram. As a result, a person who often inserts “bl *” in a conversation is treated as an ignoramus, comparing him with an artiodactyl.
BL*DSKY (-AYA; -OE) - derived from the word "bl*d". Standard designation as: bad, terrible, vulgar, deceitful, or profligate. Most often used in insulting an opponent, a third person, or indicating the situation. Used essentially as a negative element in a sentence. Examples:
- “f*cking f*cking ball, scammed me for money!”;
- "fucking mouth, I'm late for the meeting!"
VPIZD*CHIL (-LA; -TH) (-SYA; -LAS; -TSYA) - derived from the word "n*zda". Synonyms: hit, broke, beat, drove. Usually used in a sentence as an indication of the severity of the event. After the so-called addition of thought with this amplifying designation, the listener visually reproduces the picture in the most terrible framework that he can imagine, based on the story he heard. In other words:
- “I wrinkled the car a lot” — “I w*cked the car”;
- "I hit him very hard in the nose" - "I hit him in the nose".
BL*DOC - in ancient times it was believed that this is a child who was born illegally, in secret from society. In other words, a child born from a mistress is a bastard. Today, this terminology is outdated and is rarely used for this word. Usually, this word means a vile or unfavorable person. Commonly used synonyms: bastard, bastard, or bastard. It is used solely for the purpose of seriously humiliating a person, it is considered one of the most cruel insults in the Russian language.
OBSERVED * DOVAL (-A) - it means that a person, due to a vicious lifestyle, has contracted a disease that is sexually transmitted. Also, in rare cases, it can be used in stating the fact, the conception of an unplanned child with an unfamiliar sexual partner. Synonyms: worked up, picked up, brought the infection.
FUCK
Base value: copulate. In Russian speech, it can be used as an amplifying tool in the interpretation of a certain thought. Also serves as a threatening term for an opponent or characterization of hard work being done. Synonyms: I will beat, very hard, saitie, worked. Examples:
- “I’m fucking you right now so that you’ll breathe later.”
- "we fucked all over with that gearbox but never fixed it."
- "I'm fucking tired after my shift."
YOU * HAPPEN (-YUTS; -TSYA) - a derivative of the word "f*ck". This word stigmatizes people who behave excessively defiant or mannered. In other words, they show off in front of the public. However, such an insult is more often applied to a certain cohort of subjects. Since there is a list of people who can play for the public, but do it out of good intentions, for example, to be smart, in order to share their knowledge with the environment in which they are well versed and possibly give people useful information for reflection. There are people who flaunt their sporting success in front of others, which is also a positive indicator, as a motivating factor for society. Yes, they also say about them: "Oh, look, you * happen." However, if you delve into this issue, you can see that basically the author of this statement speaks about it with a smile on his face and rather jokes, paying some kind of tribute to the addressee. But, there are also individuals who are nothing of themselves and, at the same time, boast of rather dubious (maybe even fictional) stories. That is, this definition is more suitable for insecure people who have achieved almost nothing in life, but are constantly trying to prove the opposite to their surroundings.
DO*BALS (-LAS; -FOX; -TSYA) - to pester, dig, bother, meticulously clarify any question from a person, without his desire. It can also be interpreted as an unreasonable provocation to a conflict. Among generations: Y, Z, you can hear the phrase: “fucked up to the post”, which means to find fault for no reason.
EB*LO - the basic meaning of this term is the word: face. However, this noun comes from the word: v*bat. Since, initially it was used directly for the purpose of threatening a person. Example: "I'll give you a fuck now" - "I'll fuck you in the face." Only then did the designation of this word appear, such as: a terrible face. Also, sometimes this curse means a mouth. For example: "be kind, fill up fucked * lo."

A person using such an insult may imply that the recipients are a bunch of despicable, low-ranking or fallen people in the eyes of the public. In the criminal world, this expression means that this is a group of non-authoritative persons, but not "lowered", but people who are nothing. Many, out of ignorance, use the named noun in the address of normal representatives of society. Thus, in pursuit of the goal, brighten up your sentence with a swear word. X*Y
The most common and boring name of the male genital organ. There are countless theories as to where the swear word came from, and one contradicts the other. Therefore, we will not delve into the roots of the origin of this swear word. The base value is the definition of an unfamiliar man. It can also be used as a manifestation of one's feelings. In the context of "clear x * d" is used to state the question posed. Example: “oh, and this x * d, what is he doing here?”.
ONE * - can be a definition, both for comparing any phenomena and objects. It is derived from the phrase: one x * d. Basic value: no difference, the same, on the drum. Example: "now we'll eat or in the evening, we'll get stuck in a traffic jam." Sometimes, using this term in a sentence, the author wants to convey his indifference regarding a certain issue. FUCKING is a negative assessment of a thing or event. A fairly common curse in the vastness of the Russian mat. Basically, it is the meaning of different realities that exist on the planet, but, basically, the object being defined must be material. It is also interpreted as a person's well-being. Example: "this shit is not worth your effort."
We have tried to interpret the vocabulary of swear words as much as possible, in which almost all the obscenities of the Russian language were present. Now we are going to skim through the standard daily insults and try to understand what they really mean in order to use them properly during a conversation. With your permission, in this heading I will communicate with you on my own behalf, and not our agency. Because not all of our employees may agree with the judgments below.
Everyday insults and the use of swear words in Russian speech
Let's start with the word: m*dak. An asshole is a person who acts extremely ridiculous or disgusting. He gets no benefit from his reckless act. And his credo for life: "I just did it." By the way, I categorically disagree with the expression: "m * duck for life." If in life, then this is a fucking *b.
Dolba*b is a m*dak, with a constantly repeating wheel of samsara. That is, life does not teach him anything, but the characteristic feature of both motherfuckers and dumbass is that both of them do everything without intent - they do not receive any benefit for themselves. If by intent, everything is the same, then this is already g * ndon.
G*ondon benefits, but may act nasty or ridiculous once or twice in his life. To be frank, almost all of us are kind of g*ndons. Surely you had, at least once in your life, a case when you sold some thing to strangers, for example, a phone. The buyer asked you a standard question: "Did the screen or any other spare parts change?". You most likely answered: “well, personally, I didn’t change anything.” At the same time, you generally bought a smartphone from a person who assembled it from spare parts ordered from Aliexpress. But you, personally, did not change anything in it, therefore, you seem to have not even lied. So, in principle, anyone, even a generally good person, can turn out to be a g*ndon in such a situation.
But there is a higher category of g*ndons - these are p*n*rasts. P*derast is a g*ndon recidivist who does this all the time. A person who simply lives for it. And it has nothing to do with sexual orientation at all. I saw a huge number of heterosexual fagots and by the way, I also met decent fagots. And in this system of offensive coordinates, the word “x * ylo” does not fit in my head. Therefore, dear readers, attention to the question: who is x * ylo?
In fact, as you yourself may have noticed, the power of Russian swearing is not only in focusing the interlocutor's attention on your thoughts, blowing off steam or insulting your opponent. Also, the whole curiosity of this invention is that you can combine all of the above aspects into one, not a big sentence and at the same time, convey the essence of your thought without using a large number of words. We have already given this example in the list of swear words, but let's look at it again and add a little more. Example: “Darling, I dented the bumper of your car” - “well, f*ck, f*ck the f*ck, f*ck you sheep.”
An example of a Russian swear word: a wife wrecked her husband's car
If only the above words did not exist in Russian. In order to convey his idea, an indignant man would have to explain himself somehow, like this: “I am very dissatisfied with this situation, you have greatly disappointed me with your act, you are an inattentive and careless driver. ” See what magic happens. The man reduced the sentence from 16 words to 6. At the same time, he showed the full significance of his thought, the seriousness of his discontent, let off steam and insulted his opponent.
However, in my understanding, it is the selection of the right censorship words, a clear, detailed formulation of one's thoughts and restraint in delicate situations that distinguishes educated and cultured people from ignoramuses who do not watch their language. Therefore, before insulting someone, especially a loved one, think about how you would take such abusive criticism of this kind addressed to you.
