Film On the Road is a lovable dramatic comedy from Sam Mendes, the latest Bond director and Oscar winner for American Beauty. The script of the film was written by a married couple - Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida, perhaps that is why there is so much mutual love, warmth and sincerity in it. A loving couple finds out that they will soon become parents. The heroes set out on a journey to find the perfect place for their family.
Starting to watch the movie On the Road, the audience gets to know its characters — Bert and Verona. They are both a little over thirty, they have been together for a long time, but they love each other no less than at the very beginning of their relationship. Young people are happy when they find out that replenishment is expected in their small family. The last year they lived in a not too good house, and when the baby appeared, they counted on the help of their parents. But the parents hurried to leave for Europe, and it so happened that now nothing keeps the heroes at their former place of residence. They go across the country to visit their friends and acquaintances in order to find the very place that can become their future home, where they will be happy and be able to raise their baby in harmony with the world around them. In turn, they meet their friends, visit their homes, communicate with their families, and draw more and more conclusions for themselves. Will the heroes find their ideal place in this world?
At times lyrical and sentimental, at times cynical and funny, the film will appeal to all fans of the road movie genre and simple life stories. The heroes' journey across America turns into their journey to understanding themselves. Those who watch online as On the Road will be able to personally appreciate the life-affirming, positive and touching film.
The main roles in the film were played by American actors who are not widely known outside their country - John Krasinski and Maya Rudolf. On the screen, they create a harmonious duet and inspire confidence in their couple. In addition to them, you can see Maggie Gyllenhaal, Daeff Daniels, Katherine O'Hara (Kevin's mother from the famous Christmas comedy Home Alone) in the picture.

On the way
The game time is over,
Flowers do not bloom twice.
The shadow of the giant mountain
fell on our way.
Area of despondency and tears -
Rocks on both sides
And bare cliff,
Where the dragon prostrated.
His sharp ridge is steep,
His breath is a fiery whirlwind.
People will call him
A gloomy name: Death.
Well, turn us back,
Turn back the ships,
To experience again
The ancient poverty of the earth?
No, no way, no way!
So the time has come.
Better blind Nothing,
Than golden Yesterday!
Let us take out the sword-treasurer,
Gift of supportive naiads,
To finally find
Never-blooming garden.
