Example of overcoming adversity
17 Best Adversity Examples (2022)
Good adversity examples for a resume include overcoming disability, rejection, poverty, or struggle in order to succeed.
Some inspiring real-life examples of adversity include Helen Keller who became a successful writer despite being blind and deaf, and JK Rowling who was a struggling single mother before publishing Harry Potter.
See below for a full list of ideas for discussing adversity.
Examples of Adversity for a Resume
Here are some ideas you could include in a resume, cover letter, or college application essay to discuss how you overcame adversity.
1. Overcoming a Disability
Physical and cognitive disabilities can cause serious disadvantages for people in life. For example, if you suffer from dyslexia, you will find it a lot harder to read than your colleagues.
Nevertheless, famous people with dyslexia like Whoopi Goldberg, Richard Branson, and Steven Spielberg are all well-known successful people who overcame their dyslexia to achieve success.
2. Overcoming a Rejection
Most people in life have overcome rejection at some point or another. It might be rejection from a university, for a scholarship, a promotion, or a job.
The important thing to emphasise is that you have done something to get back up on your feet and try again. You might talk in an interview, for example, about how you didn’t get a sports scholarship for college so instead you worked a part-time job throughout your degree.
This can show examples of your persistence, perseverance, flexibility, and determination.
3. Proving Someone Wrong
Sometimes, we have a teacher, mentor, or peer who decides we are not good enough to continue.
Succeeding despite being told you’re not good enough is a great way of showing you can overcome adversity.
Examples of when this has happened include when Thomas Eddison’s teacher told him he could never learn due to lack of cognitive flexibility (he went on to invent the lightbulb) and Michael Phelps’s teacher told him “…that I would never amount to anything and I would never be successful. ”
Phelps went on to win 28 medals in the Olympic games.
4. Growing up Poor
People who are born into poverty will statistically earn less money in their lifetimes and are less likely to graduate school than their wealthier peers.
Poverty is clearly an adversity that needs to be overcome by the disadvantaged. They have less access to good schools, tutors, books, and resources.
Nevertheless, some role models can show that you can overcome the adversity of poverty to succeed. Examples include Jim Carey (whose family lived in a car for part of his life), JK Rowling (who was a struggling single mother before finding success with Harry Potter) and Dolly Parton who grew up in a one-bedroom cabin with dirt floors.
5. Being a Refugee
Refugees are some of the most resilient people in the world. They left dangerous and unsafe conditions in their homes and fled for their lives. They then had to start a new life in a foreign culture, often with very little money.
Going through all the challenges and still succeeding shows that you’ve got the resiliency to overcome adversities faced in life.
Famous refugees who have managed to overcome their tough start in life include Albert Einstein, Sigmund Freud, and Madeleine Albright.
6. Being an Immigrant
Immigrants and refugees share similar stories. While refugees fled trauma, signifying greater adversity, upon arrival to their new country, both refugees and immigrants have to start afresh.
Many immigrants have to struggle with adjusting to a new culture. Sometimes, their professional qualifications from overseas are not recognized, and despite their previous successes and social status, they have to start from the bottom again.
Many also immigrate with very little money.
Nevertheless, we can look to famous immigrants like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Elon Musk, and Mila Kunis as examples of people who lived through the immigrant experience and found success.
7.
Failing as a StudentMost of us can relate to a time when we struggled in our studies. It’s rare that someone is very good in every subject at school.
When coming up with an adversity example for school or study, reflect on a time when you had a lot of difficulty with a school subject. Reflect on how you reacted: did you study harder, spend more time doing homework, or even have to re-sit the exam?
8. Getting Fired or Laid off
Getting fired is no fun for anyone. But after the initial shock or worry, you can reflect on how you got back your confidence.
Many people lost their jobs during the economic crisis of 2008, for example, and again during the 2021 worldwide lockdowns. So, this isn’t an experience unique to any one person.
You might have had to get further education, reflect on whether you’re following the right career path, or seek a mentor to help you overcome your weaknesses.
9. Suffering an Injury
Injuries can cause people to struggle to do daily tasks that they used to find easy.
The injury might have made you reflect on how much you used to take daily tasks for granted.
For example, if you broke an arm, then suddenly simple tasks like getting dressed require a lot of thought and reflection.
By figuring out new ways to get dressed, you will have developed skills in resilience and flexibility that can help you overcome the adversity you faced.
10. Suffering Discrimination
Discrimination is a very sad example of adversity people face. They have to overcome discrimination based on race, gender, disability, social-class, or another factor, in order to succeed.
A great example of someone who suffered discrimination and achieved their goals was Jackie Robinson who was the first African American to play in Major League Baseball in the modern era.
Jackie Robinson famously had to endure taunts from players and fans but didn’t retaliate because he knew that retaliating would set back the cause of integration in the MLB for decades.
Today, he’s celebrated as a peaceful man who broke through discriminatory barriers for the good of everyone.
Examples of Overcoming Adversity in Real Life
11. JK Rowling
There are many stories of writers who were continually rejected by publishers for their famous books. JK Rowling is perhaps the most famous.
Rowling was a struggling single mother until she found success with Harry Potter. But she had her first Harry Potter book rejected 14 times before it was finally published.
Today, Rowling is an exmaple of a self-made millionare and one of the wealthiest women in the world.
12. Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein fled Europe to escape WWII and found refuge in the United States. After fleeing persecution, he went on to help the Americans during the war and then win the Nobel Prize in physics.
13. Thomas Edison
Thomas Edison invented the lightbuld, but not without adversity. It took him over 1,000 attempts before he finally got a stable lightbulb that would work. The problem was finding the right type of flint! Edison famously said of his struggle: “Great success is built on failure, frustration, even catastrophy.”
14. Walt Disney
Walt Disney went through a lot of hard times in his life. His father was an abusive man, so Disney would hide and draw cartoons. In adulthood, his business went bankrupt once and his next one suffered from a lot of troubles during WWII.
Through all his troubles, he doubled-down and worked twice as hard to ensure success.
Reflecting on his life, Disney is quoted as saying: : “All the adversity I’ve had in my life, all the troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me. You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.”
15. Helen Keller
Helen Keller went blind and deaf at 19 months old. This didn’t stop her from writing 14 books and being a global human rights activist.
Keller learned to read braille and listen by touching lips. She got a university degree despite being deaf and blind (and, in her era, a woman) and went on to advocate for disabled rights. Keller also wrote several books.
16. Dr Seuss
If you thought JK Rowling had it tough, spare a thought for Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as children’s author Dr Seuss.
Dr Seuss had his first book rejected by between 20 and 43 publishers. Despite these setbacks, Seuss went on to become the most famous children’s book author of all time.
17. Tommy Caldwell
World-famous rock climber Tommy Caldwell suffered a setback when he had his left index finger cut off during a machinery accident in his backyard.
Caldwell’s career was considered over. Your fingers are, of course, extremely important to be a rock climber!
However, Caldwell re-learned how to grip rocks without the important index finger. People didn’t believe that he’d ever be able to perform at a high-level ever again, but he went on to be the first climber to complete a free climb of the Dawn Wall of El Capitan in Yosemite National Park.

Conclusion
Adversity comes in many different forms. It can be physical, cognitive, or even in the form of discrimination. It’s not something any of us ask for, but our ability to overcome it through hard work and perseverance is the most important thing. Use the above examples as inspiration for writing about adversity in a college essay, cover letter, or resume.

Describe a situation in which you had to overcome adversity
Over a billion of people suffer from birth to death, living in terrible conditions. They have to go by with less than one dollar per day… And though you most likely do not belong to this group, having won in the ovarian lottery, I am sure your life hasn’t been a stroll in a park on sunny afternoon either. Each of us faces some difficulties. Some people struggle with money, others with relationships, and almost everyone faced some serious health issues at least once in their life. Hiring managers wonder how you respond when facing adversity. They wonder whether you find the courage and strength to overcome it, or you rely on some “authorities” to help you, or even resign and give up.
Let’s have a look at 7 sample answers to the question. They should work well also for a simplified version of the question, “How do you handle adversity?”. I tired to include on my list both examples from the workplace and from personal life. Example for people with and without previous working experience. And I also include a couple of rather unconventional answers, that show a large-minded personality, and understanding of what’s going on in the world. Do not forget to read also my notes below the list of answers, for additional hints and explanations.
7 sample answers to “Describe a situation in which you had to overcome adversity” interview question
- I’ve suffered from severe allergies from young age. For a time I was extremely upset about it, because I knew I had no guilt–I just was born with these problems, and they made my life difficult at school, and also at home. But eventually I decided to do something about the situation. Instead of relying on doctors, who only kept prescribing medication with adverse side effects, I decided to study the subject and try to overcome my allergies with lifestyle changes. I continually switched to plan based diet, and completely eliminated fizzy drinks, and caffeinated beverages. And I started to run three times a week. In a few months time, I almost stopped experiencing the allergy symptoms, and quit taking the medication, slowly getting rid of side effects it had on my everyday life. Today I can interview with you without having to blow out my nose five times each minute. I am proud that I overcame the adversity, and I have definitely learned a lot from this experience.
- I recall such an example from my last job in retail. Due to the pandemic–something I had no impact on, the revenues of the store dropped by 50% from month to month, and the owner considered closing down the entire operation. But I did not give up, because I saw value in the products we were selling, and wanted to help the owner. So I suggested them to open an online store, and also offer a delivery service, and said I’d help with both, since I had experience. You should remember that I was just an employee–so it wasn’t my store, or my profit. But I tried to help regardless. Eventually we did it, started a free delivery in the city, but it didn’t help. The pandemic got even worse, and eventually the store went out of business. That’s one of the reasons why I am interviewing for a job with you today.
- I’ve been overcoming it for the past seven years. Living as a single mother of two, I barely have any free days. I work in the job, then back home, helping children prepare for school, taking care of the household, and at the end of the month, I barely pay my bills. But I do not want to cry here. I am aware that many people have it much worse. At least I have a job, and I try to get even a better one with you now, which will certainly help me in my situation, to handle the adversity. I will continue to fight against the adversity, trying to win a better future of both myself and for the children.
- I would say that my studies are a good example. You know, I hanged around with wrong guys at high school–it was the foolishness of teenage years. Got into some problems, neglected school, my academic record worsened a lot. But I didn’t realize the implications back then. Later on, when I tried to get to vet school, I did not get any interview invitations, because of my GPA. But I did not give up. I did a gap year, volunteered in animal shelters, zoos, and I even started my own non-profit, promoting better treatment of pigs on local farms. Needless to say, when I submitted my application next year, the GPA suddenly wasn’t the central point. They saw all my activities, realized how active I was, and decided to give me the chance in the interviews. Long story short, here I am today, with my degree from veterinary medicine, applying for a great job with you.
- I was living in a terrible relationship for four years. My partner was extremely jealous, and they treated my like garbage. But I wasn’t ready to protect myself, to quit, because I was afraid of their threats. Eventually I decided to seek help of a psychologist and they recommended me an NGO helping women in my situation. Step by step, I managed to escape the relationship, move to a different city, and now I finally feel free and ready to experience something good in life. The job I am trying to get with you right now is the next important step on my journey.
- I remember a fitting situation from my last managerial job in a small IT company. We struggled with workforce. As you can imagine, we could not compete with big tech companies in terms of salary offer and employee benefits. We struggled to attract any talent to the company. And I didn’t have a budget to make anything huge happen. But then I came with an idea to recruit foreign programmers. We made a compelling offer, and started looking for people in countries where our salary offer was actually attractive. Eventually I managed to get five new people onboard, working distantly, with excellent skills and attitude. It was a good experience and I definitely learned a lesson. We should never give up. We just have to look for a different way to achieve our goals, if the original way doesn’t work…
- Speaking honestly, I do not think that I had to overcome any real adversity in my life. Sure enough, I had my battles. I have some health issues, I struggled in relationships, and had to work extremely hard to get where I am at the moment. But… I realize what’s going on in the world. More then 10,000 children die of hunger in the world every day. Tens of millions of people live in war zones, and terrible conditions, basically fighting for survival. I mean, I really don’t see a point in calling anything I had to overcome adversity. It just isn’t the case. In fact I am extremely lucky, and I am eternally grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been given in life.
Try to choose a situation with a good outcome
A good outcome doesn’t necessarily mean that you overcame the adversity, rose like a Phoenix from ashes, and relished in your sweet victory. Maybe things eventually didn’t work out. But you tried your best, learned your lesson, didn’t give up. That’s the attitude hiring managers seek in great job candidates.
It is also important to realize that hiring managers are only people from flesh and bones, just like you or me. They have also had their share of problems (and maybe still face adversity), often in their personal life. That’s why examples from your private life (family, relationships, health issues) work great in this case. People sitting in the interviewing panel can easily connect with your words on a very personal level, because they may have experienced something similar in their life years ago, or are even experiencing it right now.
* Special Tip: This isn’t the only difficult question you will face while interviewing for any decent job. You will face questions about prioritization, dealing with pressure, dealing with ambiguity, and other tricky scenarios that happen in the workplace. Up to 10 premium answers to 31 tricky scenario based questions (+ more) will make your life much easier in the interviews. Thank you for checking it out!
Do not be afraid to philosophize a bit
Many people are completely lost in the net of their successes, failures, desires and worries. They do not see behind the fence of their own backyard. It isn’t necessarily a showstopper in the interviews–if it was a showstopper, 70% of Americans would never get a job.
However, explaining the hiring managers that you are actually aware of the problems others face, that you do not live in a small bubble of your personal existence, but see what’s going on in the world, and in the light of these things consider yourself extremely fortunate, regardless of problems you had to overcome, is an extremely powerful answer indeed, and can help you stand out from your competitors in the interviews….
Ready to answer this one? I hope so! Do not forget to check also 7 sample answers to other tricky interview questions:

4 tips to help overcome any difficulties in life
June 10, 2021 Life
Various difficulties inevitably arise in life: health problems, economic crises or family troubles. To cope with them, it is necessary to develop psychological stability.

To withstand any trials, you need to be able to control your thoughts, feelings and actions. Here are four simple tips to help you.
1. Accept reality
Acceptance does not mean acceptance. You just need to recognize that this or that event is a fait accompli. Resisting and repeating that this should not have happened, you are just wasting time and effort. By accepting what is happening, you will take the first step in order to find a way out of the situation.
Imagine a traffic jam. One person will think: “How unfair! And why does this always happen to me? He will begin to get angry, nervous and swear with other drivers.
A mentally stable person will simply remind himself, "There are millions of cars on the roads every day, and it's natural that there will be traffic jams from time to time." This attitude will help keep you calm. Such a person will turn on the podcast and wait for traffic to recover.
To accept reality, we need to understand what we can control and what we can't. In situations that you have no control over, try to control yourself.
2. Stop feeling sorry for yourself
Acceptance of reality will help to organize thoughts and feelings. This is the key to productive behavior. How we behave when faced with a problem determines how quickly we find a solution to it. Even if our problem cannot be solved (for example, the loss of a loved one), we still choose how to respond to what happened every time.
Do not indulge in self-pity. It will not allow you to move on and completely deprive you of the strength of the spirit. Ask yourself, “What can I do right now to help myself in some way?” You may have to overcome your fear or do something unpleasant. The main thing is to act.
3. Control sad thoughts
Reason can be both our best ally and our worst enemy. If you allow negative thoughts to take over, you simply won't be able to do anything.
Thoughts like "I'll never be able to do this" or "I can't take another minute" will prevent you from reaching your goals. So try to notice when your thoughts become too pessimistic.
If you feel like you are panicking, think about what you would say if your friend were in this situation. Surely you would encourage him and assure him that everything will work out for him.
4. Practice resilience early
A crisis is not the right time to start developing resilience. This must be done in advance.
You wouldn't wait until you had to lift something heavy to start pumping muscles, would you? It is unlikely that it will help you if you undertake to pull iron five minutes before moving the sofa. But by building up strength gradually, you will be able to lift more weight.
The same can be said about psychological stability. So that you have enough fortitude to overcome life's difficulties, train it every day.

Every person has problems in life, some cope with them quickly, continuing to enjoy any little thing, others go into themselves and stop communicating with their loved ones. Being depressed for a long time can lead to negative consequences, so you need to pull yourself together and quickly solve all the difficulties that worry you. In this article I will tell you what qualities help a person overcome all life's difficulties.
Difficulty - what it is
Difficulties are certain obstacles that arise in the life of every person. They interfere with the achievement of their goals, require effort and keep us in constant tension. Difficulties range from the simplest to the most difficult. Some people are afraid of difficult situations, others calmly react to them and try to cope with them faster, believing that they make a person stronger and more experienced.
Sometimes overcoming the most negative problem opens up new opportunities, allows you to test your strength, allows you to learn from your mistakes and forms experience. To overcome all adversity, you must have the will and firm endurance. Sometimes a person masks his negative qualities, but when faced with difficulties, they appear, and then others begin to wonder how they could make such a mistake in a close friend, brother, relative.
Difficult moments make people vulnerable, but they also help to identify the weaknesses of friends, significant others. Cowardly individuals who are too lazy to act and fight for their goal follow the path of least resistance, they seek their own benefit in everything and strive for a calm routine life. When trouble appears on their life path, they choose the easiest way to solve it - they run away from it or put it on the shoulders of relatives and friends.
There are also individuals who, in case of any difficulties, begin to show their aggression. They speak negatively of those who created these difficulties, accuse them of all sins and threaten them. This should not be done, since all unpleasant situations must be treated calmly in order to overcome them more rationally and quickly. Then you will earn respect, increase your self-esteem and succeed.
If you still find yourself in a difficult situation - tell yourself: "This will not last long", "I will definitely cope with everything."
But there are also hopeless situations that you need to put up with and not blame yourself for failure.
A few examples of human life problems
All hardships are different, they can be:
- Material. Lack of money, lack of any property, no opportunity to increase your fortune.
- Professional. Loss of a job, demotion, overly complex work project.
- Stress. Death of a close friend, relative, serious illness, divorce from a husband or a breakup with a boyfriend, a change in the usual environment.
If you stay inactive and do not solve difficult situations, this will lead to prolonged depression.
Qualities that will help overcome life's difficulties
The ability to easily overcome all obstacles is formed in mature people who are engaged in self-development, because of this their inner spirit becomes stronger. Whatever goal you set for yourself, on the way to achieving it you will encounter many obstacles, it is their overcoming that leads to real success and respect of others.
I will list the main qualities that are needed to easily get out of a difficult situation:
- willpower;
- mindfulness;
- strong holding;
- balance;
- patience.
These qualities are developed by performing certain physical exercises. After all, our body and brain are inextricably linked with each other. I will talk about this in more detail below.

Difficulties in life: what they are and how to overcome them
Absolutely everyone has difficulties, there is no such person who has not met them on his way. At the same time, you should not despair and feel the most unhappy in the world. Do not blame yourself and others, do not give up and do not be surprised.
Some people are very worried, think pessimistically - this can lead to depression, the person begins to sink into despondency, depression and feel complete hopelessness. These feelings harm a person and often lead to suicide.
Successfully getting out of any serious difficulty requires mental strength, intelligence and flexibility. Try to perceive each difficulty not as a predicament, but as a task that needs to be solved. Then you will get invaluable experience.
Finding and identifying troubles
There are several varieties of difficult and difficult life situations, I will give a number of examples from life: theft of a large sum of money, the death of a loved one, an incurable diagnosis.
You must identify the root of the predicament and try to deal with it. If you are unable to identify them, sign up for my consultation, together we will overcome all obstacles.
Willpower and ability to fight
After you look into the eyes of all your obstacles, they will immediately cease to seem scary. Try to apply all your strength and skills to successfully overcome all adversity. Without making efforts, you will not achieve a result - which means that the obstacle will not go anywhere from you.
Life difficulties
The presence of difficult moments helps us to understand how good our life is without them, we begin to appreciate happiness, we are in a hurry to achieve our goals. If suddenly all difficult situations disappear, we will not be able to compare one with the other, a blurred line will appear between difficulties and joyful events. Everything will become the same and boring. The most important thing when faced with obstacles is to understand that everything will pass, and a new stage of life will begin.
Ways to deal with
I will list a few tips on how to successfully get out of any difficult situation:
- Make a list of all your obstacles. Separate the real from the fictional - unreal, contrived by you. Try to talk to your difficulties. Ask why they are in your life, think carefully about how to fix everything, make a plan of action. After carrying out this technique, tear the entire list into several parts and throw it in the trash can.
- Start living here and now. Concentrate your attention on what is happening in your life at the moment. Enjoy these instant events, because they will never return.
- Find gaps in knowledge, skills and abilities and fill them. You can engage in self-development on your own or enroll in courses, get the desired education. Most importantly, learn what is new to you.
Exercises that help develop skills to overcome difficulties
Everyday problems are a completely common phenomenon that every person faces. The main thing is to find the right way out and not despair. I will describe several exercises that will help you not to lose yourself, to easily get out of a depressed state and indifference.
Relax the Muscle Tissues
When a person can completely abstract from the whole world, giving his body and brain time to rest, he has endurance. The best way to relax is the Shavasana yoga exercise. This is a very useful technique that quickly relieves fatigue and replenishes energy. Such training should be carried out every day in the evening when you return from work or are excited about something.

Remember how all the representatives of the cat family usually lie down. They completely relax, but are always on the alert - at the slightest stimulus, they are ready to take action. Try to achieve the same relaxed state. With complete relaxation, you will feel that your skin freely envelops the skeleton, like tissue.
Relax your mind
You can start this exercise only after mastering the previous one. Remember the relaxed state that you have achieved as a result of "Shavasana" - lightness and serene happiness. Do it again and come up with your own suggestion formula:
- I am free.
- I feel serene and light.
This technique quickly restores all strength, helps to quickly cope with excitement, excitement, aggression, irritation, and it also provides rest for your brain.
The more you devote time to this technique, the faster it will bear fruit - you will become calmer, and your willpower will be strengthened every day.
Keep your muscles tense
This method can develop:
- patience;
- balance;
- excerpt.
Sit or stand, raise your arms and keep them at shoulder height. They can be stretched forward or spread apart. Try to keep them for a certain time - 15-30 minutes.
If the muscle tissues are poorly developed, it will be difficult for you to perform this exercise, as severe pain will arise, so you need to have willpower to withstand this test and not put your hands down.
Walk slowly
Take only three steps in a set amount of time - a few seconds, then increase it to half a minute. The maximum time interval is 15 minutes. The movement should not be interrupted, imagine that you are in a slow motion movie. This is a complex exercise that engages every muscle tissue of the entire body. As soon as you get used to this technique, you will immediately feel the power over your body. You can easily withstand any trouble.
What are typical difficult situations in life? So, I will list the typical unpleasant moments that often come our way:
- New things are always scary. This is due to the fact that you cannot fight your fears. Learn to be stronger than them. Write a list of your apathies and come up with a plan to get rid of them. Constantly remind yourself why you are not giving up.
- Doubts often arise. This is quite normal. Some individuals very often doubt and stop acting. It is necessary to deal with the uncertainty in their actions.
- Doing several things at once. Some people are so busy with their self-development that they try to grab onto absolutely everything - studying, reading, learning languages, fitness classes, dancing, work. First you need to make a list, first list the most important skills, then the less important ones. Plan out when and what activities you will be doing, right down to setting a date and time.
- When mastering one material, another is forgotten. Each skill must be worked out to automatism. To do this, you need to perform special exercises and training.
Life difficulties are small stages in our life that test our strength. They make us more determined and stronger.
Ask a question
4 main tips
To successfully get out of difficult situations, you must have psychological stability, if you do not have it, I will tell you four secrets on how to develop it. It helps to endure any trials, to keep your emotions, thoughts and actions under control.
Accept reality
It is necessary to come to terms with the fact that the trouble that has arisen has already overtaken you. Do not rest against it and repeat every time that this should not have happened. You will only waste your valuable time. As soon as you recognize the existence of an obstacle -
you immediately begin to act immediately.
To achieve acceptance and humility, we need to know what we can control and what we can't. When faced with a trouble that cannot be controlled, try to control yourself.
Pity is an indicator of weakness
Humility with difficulty can bring order to thought processes and feelings. Our behavior in solving any complexity determines our efficiency and intelligence. We are able to control our feelings, even if there is no way out of this situation - the death of a loved one.
Do not feel sorry for yourself, because this weakness will become an obstacle that will not allow you to move on. Pity robs us of the strength of the spirit.
Control pessimistic thoughts
Reason sometimes becomes our ally, but sometimes acts as an enemy. If negative thoughts fill your head, you are not able to move on. Beliefs such as: “I can never do this”, “I can’t stand this” - prevent the solution of difficulties and the achievement of goals. Try to catch the moment when your healthy thought process turns into a pessimistic one.
When you feel panic, think quickly about what you would say to your close friend if he were in this situation. Most likely, you will support him, try to cheer him up and offer your help.
Try to train mental resilience in advance
The period of difficulty is not the best time to train. It is necessary to prepare for difficulties in advance. Develop your strength of mind every day.
In this article, I told you all about the difficulties that often appear in our lives. They appear at the most unexpected moment and often lead to a whole series of troubles. The main thing is to accept the fact of their presence and try to calmly overcome them, while gaining valuable life experience and a tempered character. Many give up and are afraid to do anything, because they doubt their actions, as a result, everything stands in its place, and such a person develops a depressive state and apathy for life.
