Gave the people what they wanted
A lot of reviewers here not knowing what they're talking about.
Why would you buy a movie of a stage show by two youtubers you've never heard of? Of course it won't make sense to you.
This is a stage show from Dan and Phil made for their audience. Lots of inside jokes and references to their content on Youtube. Chances are you won't enjoy it unless you're a fan.
I've been a follower of D&P for 3 years and went to see the show live, still enjoyed watching it filmed. It's funny for those who get the jokes. Brought back great memories, too. I think anyone can enjoy it but I would recommend at least doing some research on them first.

Biography
Daniel James Howell was born on 11 June 1991 in Wokingham, Berkshire, UK. He does not like to expand on the topic of family, but it is known that he has a younger brother, Adrian.
Before starting his YouTube career, Howell worked at Focus DIY from the age of sixteen and later at ASDA Supermarket. After leaving school in 2009, Dan took a break during which he started posting videos on his channel as a hobby. In 2010, he started studying at the University of Manchester at the Faculty of Law, but dropped out in 2011 due to lack of interest in the subject, choosing vlogging.

He also struggled with clinical depression, as he revealed in his video "Daniel and Depression", which he published in October 2017. In the video, he spoke openly about his journey to recovery, which included seeing a therapist, taking antidepressants, and focusing on "basic self-help."
His video was impressive and was viewed over 2.6 million times. Dan posted the video the day after World Mental Health Day and featured it for #HelloYellow, a mental health campaign by British organization YoungMinds. Dan Howell is famous for his YouTube channel. The first video he uploaded to YouTube was HELLOW INTERNET in October 2009.
Friends, including Phil Lester, constantly pushed him to publish new videos. In 2012, Dan won the YouTube Super Note competition run by Rhett and Link.
In 2014, Howell received The Lovie Awards for Person of the Year.
